Im kinda worried that this isn't normal or something. i noticed it about a year ago when i noticed how sweaty it was in-between my cheeks. it also gets very sweaty between my legs and idk if this is from the friction of me walking around (because i walk/ ride a bike everywhere). or if anyone has some suggestions on how to get rid of it at home. its more of a vanity issue with me but id really love some feedback to know if I'm not alone or if this is really odd.

As far as I can see, it's just either hyperpigmentation due to friction or just some closed pores. However, you may want to get your thyroid checked. As far as an at home solution goes, I can't give you a fix all, but some exfoliation may help. Try scrubbing back there with some baking soda every day for a couple of weeks. Just sprinkle a decent amount on your lathered up wash cloth and go to work ;).
Also, consider changing up your razor and/or shaving cream if you use them.
You should then be good to go! ..|

Now we're not doctors but it looks to me like you have Jock Itch.

The sweating you say you encountered causes bacteria in between folds in your body to multiply and cause rashes and discomfort.

The best solution: You can try over the counter cremes for Lamisil or Lotrimin along with getting Zeasorb powder for jock itch.

Sometimes the over the counter ointments aren't strong enough and you have to get prescription ointments from dermatologists.

The best way to combat jock itch is to constantly powder yourself down below (especially during the summer), sleep in an aired environment, and (no offense) losing weight.

^This.

The big clue is that it has a rounded, clear margin like ringworm. When jock itch goes on for a while, the skin can begin to pigment around the area. Your mention of being sweaty also is another clue.

Jock itch (tinea cruris) tends to flare up in the summer. We all have fungus on our skin. However, when we're warm and sweaty for long periods of time, the fungus gets out of control. When it's around the anus, guys can have it and not realize it's there until someone tells them (or unless you take a picture like you did).

The two ways to combat jock itch are 1) use an anti-fungal cream or spray - try the over-the-counter brands but since you've had it a while, don't be surprised if you have to get a prescription-strength brand from your doctor and 2) get rid of the conditions that cause the fungus to grow- specifically warmth, sweat and dead skin.

You have not mentioned whether it itches or how much?

ok thanks guys i will try out what i can. it only really started when i started to loose weight and exercise more than before. as for the itching it does once in a while not a crazy amount but i guess this all makes sense with what you guys have said thank you all very much.

It is a sign of insulin resistance, which will ultimately lead to metabolic diseases including diabete, high blood pressure, fatty liver, and cardio vascular disease

It could also be butt chafe from exercising and skin rubbing on skin with sweat and bacteria. Go have a dermatologist check it out. If butt chafe, then ALWAYS keep the area clean and use cornstarch powder to keep cool and dry. Also use a mild soap like Cetaphil to shower around the area. If butt chafe then it will go away.

This is a perfect example of why medical advice on the internet should be taken with a grain of salt.

We do not know enough information from the OP to suggest his Jock Itch is a sign of diabetes. The overall majority of people who suffer from it are not diabetics.

Losing weight and getting in shape however, can only help.

Moving on.

KaraBulut is a Doctor, so I would accept his advice.

Probably the diabetes reference was referring to acanthosis nigricans which is not related to jock itch, nor is jock itch related to diabetes.
