I'm currently dating this guy I really like. Nothing too serious as of yet but I do wanna head that way. Anyway I'm just hoping I might find some inspiration on here for some not so lame date ideas. I mean we've done the dinner and a movie thing enough times, I wanna mix it up a little. Specifically I live in AZ, so if anyone knows of some good creative places around, that would help.

I've only been to AZ in transit but know people who live there. You have all the natural beauty stuff. Is there someplace not too far that neither of you have seen? If its something more city related, are there any Segway tours nearby? That's a fun activity.

how about going on a picnic or having him over for dinner. I'm not a fan of movie dates. You don't really get to talk and get to know each other. I like going to museums or amusement parks. Art exhibits are fun. There has to be a fall festival in the area. How about college or professional sporting events. Concerts are ok but they're kind of like movies. You can't really talk a lot.

ok those are some ideas I thought of. hope that helps.

Steven.

If he's outdoorsy, go hiking or biking (but, of course, don't go in the middle of the day, and take lots of water in that heat!). You can do some awesome mountain biking in AZ.

Go out for ice cream and take a walk around a nice part of town. Snacking and walking is a good way to get in a nice conversation and still have something else to distract yourselves with.

Why go out and spend a zillion dollars?

Here's a great idea that's a lot of fun: Homemade Pizza Night

Get a couple bottles of red wine, shop for your ingredients and favorite pizza toppings, and plan for a great night in. Put on some tunes while you make the dough (here's a good recipe) and prepare the toppings. Have some wine, enjoy creating some handmade goodness, then flash up a movie to watch when the pizza is ready. Good times!
