  • Hi Guest - Did you know?

Dear Freezing cold weather of Florida, ....

HAI GUISE.
IT'S GOING TO BE A CHILLY 74 DEGREES F TODAY IN SAN DIEGO.

Cold right?

Maybe I should go to the beach again.

:)

I was in Houston on Fri. night and it was only 29. Hartford on Sat. and it was 24, and Miami Sunday and a high of 39. It's wonderful to be back home today where it's a balmy 72.

It was in the 50s in Havana yesterday.

It was about 15 degrees F. in Havana, ILLINOIS yesterday.

Mebournians complain if the max temp does not get above double digits (10C 50F) in July and August.

At 12.30am on Tues 12 Jan it is still 35C (95F).

OK, so it was -12F (or about -15C) here twice over the weekend, but I'll GLADLY take that shit in preference to the 35C-at-midnight shit, LOL!

^yeah ok but we'll check with you in summer when it is blazing hot and here is so comfortable..

If he's right in San Diego, it doesn't get blazing hot there all that often.

As my relatives in Florida are constantly reminding me, you needn't worry about Florida weather making you uncomfortable. Everything there is air-conditioned.

NEVER gets blazing hot here. San diego gets offshore winds creating high heat. Was there in October years ago - was windy and over 40c..pure hell. Plus fires, earthquakes, mud slides and violence.
NO THANKS.
Let me see. We get offshore winds maybe 3 or 4 times a year where, at my house, rarely goes above 85, it is usually 72-75. I live near the ocean so never experienced fires, they are mainly in the east near canyons when they do occur in the fall during the Santa Ana winds. San Diego has never had a major eartquake. In fact, the city council years back applied to the Federal Gov. for a grant to do an earthquake study. It was denied. Reason given? Baltimore Md. has had more earhquakes than San Diego. Doesn't mean it won't fall into the Pacific tomorrow, just saying.
