I agree w/ Swellegant's proposal. I've cut back a lot on my coffee consumption over the past few years - alas, I too run the risk of being awake till the wee hours if I imbibe caffeine at night.
My preferred coffee is always a good French Roast, BLACK.
So, yes, if I can't swing 1/2 Caff - I'll do FR Decaf. No, it's not the same, but at least it still has some meat to it.
Now, remember, I'm a hard core BLACK coffee drinker. I will finish my travel mug remains the next morning - even if it is almost frozen.
So, consider the source. But, for my habit, it's straight up, no sugar or creamer added, either. Unless I'm eating Coffee Ice Cream.
