I must say I agree with this article. I went to Home Depot yesterday, which just happens to have a Chick-fil-a in the front part of the parking area and uses one of the same entrances off the main highway.

I had forgotten about the "support day." At first I thought, what is going on at Home Depot? The cars are lined up half a mile down the road!

Then it hit me. I mean it really hit me. Like a fist in the gut.

How could so many people be so hateful. It ruined my day. I had trouble sleeping last night because of all the negative emotions it dragged up again.

It's overwhelming to think that so many people feel that way. I have good friends and a supportive neighborhood and family, so I'll be okay. I worry about all the others who are alone with this.

I wish I could give all of them a hug and tell them it will be alright.

Let it go, they don't pay your bill so fuck'em. They are all thinking they are making a stand and the bulk of them are hypocrits (out of wedlock parents, divorced, cheating spouses, living in sin, etc) all the things the bible they love preaches against, but they want to be part of something. If you let them break you, then they have won. There is one in my town I almost forgot about it until I saw the online news stories but I haven't been there since I heard about their stance the first time well over a year ago and I eat out 90% of the time and it use to be part of my "loop" but not anymore. After the hype, it all die down and I'm sure some of the gay employers are spitting in some of their food I went to visit some friends up in ATL and they use go there on a regular basis but after I told them about the news story and they actually started seeing it on tv, they have stop going there also. I'm not sure how the "kiss in" is going to go tomorrow but I fear some people will be going to jail after they are asked to leave. I hope at least if they kiss, they just kiss and not have a "make out" session and please go in pairs and make sure you don't get followed and keep a little something extra in your car in case you do.

Do not feel sad. Chick-fil-a can try and use nuns and other silly Catholic images to try and gain points, but the whole world by now knows how evil they are. Putting Catholic nuns/priests in the pics - they might as well taken out an add promoting phedofiles. We all know Catholism is a religious excuse for phedofiles....

I get what you mean,,, its discouraging to see a lot of the things ppl have been saying/putting on FB as well as the high turn-outs for CFA appreciation day. Even my mom said today on the phone that, "she doesn't agree with it, but everybody has the right to have an opinion" i didnt even bother getting into it with her, im just going to send her this very informative link perfectly describing my feelings on the matter. plus i dont think she gets that its about more than just the CEO's words.
