He gives drug dealers jobs. He keeps divorce lawyers in business. He's personally responsible for the mild winter we've experienced because of all that hot air he's blown around, reducing heating bills.

He's made his dentist and denture manufacturer a lot of money. Not to mention the people who make Malomars and other sweets.

freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from any social repercussions that your speech may have.

This is what people like Jane Fonda and whats her face crazy attention-whore lawyer don't understand: Rush did a good enough job burying himself this time that the market will do a fine job of killing his show dead. There's no need to censor him or infringe on his freedom of speech, because its that very speech that will free us of him forever.

I have the freedom to listen to something else (anything else). The only time I hear Himself is through sound bites on the local progressive radio station. Sometimes I am compelled to shut them off too.

In 1995, there was a severe earthquake in Kobe, Japan - many fatalities. The local "hate radio" station* said that was "payback for Pearl Harbor", but you realize that anyone with half a brain would know that the majority of the earthquake victims were not even alive in 1941. I called the radio station - spoke with the station manager. I told him that his radio hosts had stepped over the line. Haven't tuned into that station for 17 years. This is no time to resume.

Exactly ... and that is the spirit.

I tune into all kinds of shit I know is insanely wrong but I have to read or watch it and try to get inside what they plan next. I did it for the Soviets. I did it for the extremist. No reason not to read up on your crazy fringe in your own country.
