He doth protest too much, following the usual tedious Republicon formula: deny everything :^o plus the following statements:

1. I don't know.
2. I can't remember.
3. I wasn't in the loop.
4. The accuser is a liar (AKA attacking the witness).
5. It's the "liberal media."
6. It's Perry.
7. It's the Democrats.
8. It's the Klingons. (I made this one up - I think.)

Attn: Bill Clinton is off limits on this thread. The topic is Herman Cain - "in it to win it." :rotflmao:
...and I didn't even have to "play the race card." :p

The best I've seen to date is Jon Stewart's team finding the evidence that Cain reported the issue and the settlement in 2003 when he was going to run for office....but by 2011, declared that he din't know if there had been a settlement

Audacity. Mendacity,

^ Yes, the John Stewart clip of that was damning.

In retrospect, the whole scandal is a bit silly. So in his younger days he was a pervert who abused his wealth and position to sexually harass women. He settled it for a pretty penny and the women received justified compensation. He shouldn't be labeled as a "sex offender" for the rest of his life because of it. The only reason why it is so terrible is because the man just can't be damn honest about the situation. He's demonizing everyone else except himself. The dishonesty is what truly shows his lack of character.

^ It is all about the dishonesty.

And like so many other mild sociopaths who somehow convince themselves that they are immune from being held accountable, he's been caught out. And bizarrely...it always seems to be sex that is the undoing of these types.

Next Candidate Please.

It doesn't concern me that he lied. I would expect people caught in shameful situations to lie. That's human nature. What concerns me is a hypocrite dictating morality for others. I understand philandering; I don't forgive continual abuse of power, the real issue here.

I hat eto pointout the obvious, but its really not up to him as to when he exactly drops out.

He can spend as much money of hi sand the Koch brothers all he likes.

At the end of the day, the voters will decide when he drops out of the race. As A progressive I hope he's in it until November 2012.

maybe I ought to do some work for his campaign.

He won't drop out because he has books to sell and expensive speeches to make. Running for President is lucrative.

It's still unclear for chance isn't it? LOL. Why doesn't it surprise me. There was no conspiracy against Cain. His handling of this matter is what brought him down. Cain should drop out... as I would say stop trying to salvage something beryond repair. His campaign is dead. I believe it was KIA the day he talked about that stupid tax plan... but I guess all these sexual harassment accusations and his ridiculous reaction did it for him.

What's "unclear" is what really happened

I've never suggested a conspiracy
I've never suggested Cain is the goods
I've never suggested anything but that the response to these accusations is not commensurate with the facts of the case

as for his candidacy ........ Who knows

Lots of time between now and Iowa

The press coverage is overkill and slanted

That's "clear"

That fool does not even know that that the Republicans would love for him to be the candidate running against Obama

Actually, I think he would be the ideal Republican now that Timothy McVeigh is no longer with us  - Roger Ailes' sock puppet. Friend of the Koch Brothers. Friend of the "banksters". Best of all... he's not Obama.

Oh, come on, Chance. The man was accused of sexual harassment on multiple occasions. Do you honestly believe he "doesn't remember" what happened? The quote of mine you responded to directly references the Jon Stewart clip where they cut to Cain's smoker campaign manager who said Cain hired a public image consultant to specifically address this sexual harassment issue since 2003. Now Cain can't remember the details all of a sudden?

He's a liar. Like Anthony Weiner, he's trying to cover this up and make false accusations until the bitter end.

Cain doesn't have to drop out of the race. It's pretty much over for him, whether or not he chooses to realize it.

Perhaps you're right

Perhaps he sexually harassed some/all

don't know

I'm not defending him or his candidacy

what i am saying is that he is being vilified beyond the facts and norm for this type of thing

that's all

I wouldn't/won't vote for him

One thing I would love to see before his campaign is over is to have an employee of his serve him some of his pizza and see if he eats it.

I think you have to be blind to not realize what is going on here, or either that speak in broken haiku without making a point.

The press coverage is fair considering how much attention this guy is getting from right wing tea party republicans.

Yeah - guilty before proven innocent is YOUR motto I guess

Now Cain's lawyers are trying to intimidate and bully any women who he (allegedly) sexually harrassed.

Cain's arrogance is disturbing. Even the mega-bully Rush Windbag piped in on this.

Limbaugh Jokingly Asks If Cain Accusers ‘Want To Synchronize Their Menstrual Periods’

Where did I say that? I love how you make things up, chance. You don't have a clue about my views I have to say. And Cain's inability to explain himself and react to the charges says it all.

Dude- get real - u said it's CLEAR what happened

What did u mean if not he's guilty?
