..only by 22 hours, hahahaha!! ](*,) #-o :grrr:

Got stuck in London on Sunday night, and had to wait until Monday afternoon to get a train as all the planes had been cancelled again.

Gotta love severe snow in England, eh? Fucking brilliant time in the capitol, mind! ..|

Anyone else had troubles travelling because of the snow?

Not so far...but there's a chance we'll have a white Christmas here. The first time since 1963 according to the weather guy.

Nope. Multiple feet of snow of snow is perfectly normal here at this time of year.

Glad it was only 1 day for you. I was watching the news last night and they said some people were on their 3rd and 4th days stuck in London. Can't imagine. Poor folks. They weren't allowed access to their bags so many of them were wearing the same clothing for 3 days. Some had packed their medications and weren't allowed access either. What a mess.

My kids and I are leaving at 730 tomorrow morning for North Dakota. Really hoping we don't run into any problems. Traveling with kids is bad enough, can't imagine being stuck in the airport for 3 days with them. OMG. The weather report say's it's supposed to be mostly cloudy but no snow. Yesterday they got over 6 inches in less than 4 hours. Yikes.

Steven.

I have to admit the airport wasn't a pretty place to be. It was utter chaos, and not an enjoyable experience. Many unhappy, upset, angry, and sleeping passengers.. We ended up going to one of the pubs in there for a while, just twiddling our thumbs (and drinking, ahem), waiting for the next announcement(s) to be made.. I couldn't even book a flight for the following day - Had to get a train. The airline shall be getting a stern letter, and I hope for them to pay the hotel bill, at least, for the inconvenience of the airline staff abruptly leaving their airport desks before the flight was announced Cancelled. :grrr:

I never let snow stop me from traveling!

Was caught out by the snow last Friday, had to cancel a Christmas lunch. And one member of my family is stuck in Boston, US, not sure if he will make it home for Christmas.
