My Dell Inspiron 1525 with windows vista 32 bit premium home edition will not connect to windows update.
It says error code 8007005. I can't find anything at mircosoft, dell or their forums addressing this problem.
I'm using F Secure for antivirus, but i installed that before Christmas and windows update still worked. I've tried briefly turning off all the firewalls...no change. (I'm using F Secure because it's free from my internet provider and since I'm not employed right now I'm trying to save money)
I've looked the settings and everything seems ok. The computer can talk to mircosoft...it ran the windows 7 thing and printed me a list of drivers I would have to update if I convert this thing to windows 7.
Does anyone have any ideas?
