In one of my Poli-Sci classes in College....I learned the US had the second lowest voter turnout in the world. The lowest was Botswana. It made me sick to my stomach at the time....
I think I hate apathy even worst than Republicans because at least the Republicans use their damn voice.
The apathetic people...UGH....
In my mind...I would be spitting on the grave of everyone who died and sacrificed for my right to vote if I didn't show up...
When Reagan was elected I was furious....and a bastard to anyone who had anything to say about him who didn't vote. I told them to STFU because when their voice mattered....they didn't use it so don't whine now because it is torture to my ears coming from someone who didn't lift a finger to do anything about it.
Democrats are much worse about showing up than Republicans.
