The only question I have is about building 7. How did that collapse in a perfect pancake when it wasn't struck directly? I saw a DVD video of it that a buddy of mine loaned to me. It looked like it was detonated, which is what they claim in the video! I'm not a conspiracy buff but that one is harder to explain than the twin towers structure failure.

It sure is hard to explain.

Building 7 contained a 6000 diesel gas tank.

Flaming bits of steel rained down on the building.

Tank caught fire and melted support columns.

Building collapse.

](*,)](*,) :help: :help: :help: :help:

The same concept brought down the twin towers.

Replace "diesel gas tank" with "airline gas tank"
Replace "flaming bits of steel rained" with "airline crashed into building"

I'm talking about the rednecks that take the kids hunting and shoot them so they can teach their son to "Be A Man" and take the life of an innocent animal away and mount its head on the wall

So, would that be a mercy shooting?

edit: There's a 9/11 Conspiracy thread running in HT, I'm sure that answers can be found there.

That one is bothersome, along with a few things about the towers -- like a mathematician who gave the chances of one falling so much like stacked pancakes at something on the order of one in a thousand, so for both of them to have gone that way....

My current wild conjecture about building 7 is that someone had wired it independently to drop, and when the towers got hit, went ahead with the plan and ran like hell.

"Flaming bits of steel".
Um, except in a VERY high-oxygen atmosphere, steel doesn't burn.

"Diesel gas tank".
Um, diesel doesn't burn so easily -- you have to be above 200 degrees C to set it off -- so your hypothetical bits of steel had to fly through the air while remaining near-glowing hot, after exposure to mere seconds, at most, the heat of the initial explosion.

I'm not buying it.

OMG, I bet not even you believe that ignorant and fantastic (as in fantasy, not reality) statement...

I'm not going to rise to the bait, but I'd like to nudge this conversation in a different direction. Since we restrict the presidency to two full terms (or 10 years [or however it goes]), perhaps there should be some sort of mandatory retirement age for members of Congress. I mean, seriously, can an 80- or 90-year-old really be in touch with the concerns of the general populace?
The longest someone can be President is 10 years basically 2 years as V-POTUS and then elected for two terms. What about the Supreme Court then that's a life time membership

The Supremes ought to have a system for removing someone who's clearly debilitated, but otherwise I'd leave them alone. The lifetime tenure makes it a lot harder for the executive branch to play games with the Court.

When you talk about a ban do you mean total ban? The reason I ask is because of movies about the Civil War and World War II also Civil War Battle reenactments how would you deal with that?

He doesn't even think people who have the swastika as a cultural emblem with nothing to do with the Nazi business should be allowed to use it, nor that blacks whose ancestors fought for the South, and who are proud of those ancestors (and the fact that they earned their freedom by that service) should be allowed to keep their ancestors' war memorabilia.
I don't know what he thinks of museums, though.
