So my guess is the assailant is either Roy Bender (Karen McCluskey's new boyfriend) or, more likely, Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delany's character). Katherine certainly had motive; to hurt Susan Delfino.

That makes sense. Katherine is a great pick (if the show is willing to get rid of her character after this storyline); maybe even Roy (if they play him up more). That would be good b/c Karen McClouskey is the one who heard Julie scream, etc. so she has a connection already. I was thinking it would be the father b/c I hear that Julie fucked him (and thought she might be pregnant). I am guessing that is why she broke up with the son.

And Rex coming back would be horrible. It would turn the show into a bona fide soap opera. Horrible idea. I know it's "dramay" now but they need to keep it more of a comedy drama than am actual soap opera.

Whats the name of Mary Alice's son (the dead woman who still does the voice overs?).....It would be a interesting way to tie things all together (if this ends up being the last season), by making HIM the person who strangled Julie.....

His name is Zach and I hope he stays away. He tarnishes the good name. But, seriously, I heard that (so long as it gets renewed and doesn't have shitty ratings) the show will continue for a few more seasons (something like 3 or 4 more, IIRC)

Lynette.....family vs job.....been there done that.
Susan being an overblown hyperactive whinny bitch.....been there done that........

Lynette being pregnant again is the stupidiest thing I ever watched, cancer four kids and excutive at a company give me a break. Yes very sick of Susan whinning

As soon as I heard Julie was having an affair with a married man, I KNEW it was the neighbor. Boy---how UNoriginal is this show going to get. Every now and then the show has it's unique moments (first season, five year jump season) but now it's like they are writing the show as if they just don't care anymore......

When the fuck did Andrew turn ugly? And what's up with Andrew spilling all of Julie's secrets to Susan? That was stupid. And Julie had a full-ride to Med School but dropped out to wait tables? C'mon.

I love Drea de Matteo. Bree needs to stop banging Karl. Lynette and her tits need to sit on the sidelines for awhile. Katherine's storyline with her losing her marbles has some promise. I hope Gaby does something soon. Her affair with John is played so she needs to find something else to do besides running after her fat kids. And Susan needs to sop her whining, but I have been saying that since season 1.

I may not accept all that you say here, but most of it rings true. The only thing I adamantly disagree on is Bree banging Karl. Come on....the man is figgin' hot when he takes the shirt off. Gotta love those abs. LOL

The show is definitely going downhill......

They say that an airplane is going to crash on Wisteria Lane and a "beloved character" is going to die in the wreckage. I think it's going to be Mrs. McCluskey, unfortunately. Sadly, the actress has cancer in real life.

Let me guess what will happen in the "plane crash episode".....
----Katherine and Susan will be trapped and have to help eachother in order to escape. Therefore, bonding and becoming friends again.
----Orson will die saving Bree....who will realize too late, that she still loves her husband.
----Lynette will be injured and lose the unborn babies. (That way the show can get rid of that stupid storyline without her character resorting to "other measures" to not complete the pregnancy)

I like this show, but the writers seem to be taking the easy way "done ten times before way", with this season. I can tell how an episode is going to end 10 minutes after it begins.....

If you don't want to know the shocking death hitting Wisteria Lane in an upcoming episode, go away.

For the rest of you, prepare to be heartbroken.

Executive producer Marc Cherry is known for having a no holds barred approach to killing off people on Desperate Housewives. Heck, a dead housewife has narrated the series since day one!

But in the upcoming mega episode, where a plane crashes into Wisteria Lane, we've learned that the tragedy falls upon the house of the Scavo family - and it's one of their kids!

Lynette, played by Felicity Huffman, is said to be suffering the tremendous loss of one of her children, and it's one she hasn't even had the chance to know. A source reveals that this season:

"[Lynette] is pregnant with twins; she loses one of them—they could save it—but it would be deformed or something. So, she loses one of the twins, that's what happens."

So, anyone still watching this show? It's getting worse.....
Lets hope the "plane crash" shakes things up a bit. I say kill off everyone accept Bree and Orson, and Lynette and her family....and start over!

LoL @ the previews for next week. How stupid. That plane comes gliding into Wisteria Lane like a big boat or something.

When I think of a plane crash, I think "deadly impact." Not... that. The damn thing looked like a big plane-shaped bus taking a joy ride through the neighborhood. Where was the explosive impact and the fire and the craziness?

This show has truly jumped the shark.

im sick of the Tom/Lynette & Carlos/Gaby storyline. like let me guess. their friends again after Lynette looses one of the twins because they feel so bad.

and does Bree and Susan not know the deal between those two? I mean usually they all know each other's business

Yeah...not really liking the storylines either. Jeez I guess I am hard to please. The Carlos/Lynette thing is just horrible and boring. And Katerine going crazy again is just getting old, how many times this season have we seen her go crazy, come to the realization that she is doing something wrong, and then just go crazy again. It is too bad because I love her as an actress.
