I was bored with the finale. It didn't seem like anyone had enough to do. Edie won't be missed because she turned into such a non character this season. Who really cares about the baby thing when we know thanks to the brat that is Danielle it'll come out midway next season. Mike and Susan married. Let's so how long that lasts. I probably won't be watching next season, sadly.

Do you think Edie is going to die or will carlos save her in the nick of time? Just say yes because I cannot handle the ending. I was beginning to like Edie who I never really cared for. I am having major issues right now. I am getting all emotional about the ending. I feel Edie was about to turn her life aroundand grow a family with trav and Carlos. I clearly have mother issues.

Why does everyone think Edie is dead? Self-hanging is not always instantaneous death, especially if it's done incorrectly. Mike was left for dead at the end of last season too...

(BTW, the suicide thing is a bit of a cop-out. I don't really believe someone like Edie would try to do that. Doesn't make sense.)

And yeah, I did like the fact that it was at first hinted that perhaps the embryo had been implanted in Bree. That was classic.

As for Lynette's mom, she needs to be sent packing fast! She uses deceit and calls up her daughter's own faults to prove she's changed? Sorry honey, that's just bitchy. Here's hoping she joins the ranks of the Desperate Housewives nasty mother-in-law club.

Yeh...Edie dead?...I'll wait and see on this one. Unless someone knows for sure her contract wasn't renewed, I'm going to assume she lives and that it's the type of cliffhanger that leads you to think one thing and then twists it into something else. Am I the only one who liked her? I really wanted her to be happy...she never has been.

Glad to see Marcia back...she looked beautiful. When Bree said the baby wasn't Orson's...I suspected it was a fake. I just thought how odd for her and Danielle to be pregnant at the same time and then it clicked that it was probably a scam....then sure enough it was. I don't really understand the secrecy behind her pregnancy though...in this day and age teenage pregnancy is not so taboo and uncommon. I guess it's just for sake of story... (To the poster above that pointed out about why Julie would even try to contact Danielle because she had cheated with her boyfriend...you're right. I didn't really think about it then...but now that it was pointed out, it just doesn't make sense, but not a critical gaffe.)

Susan and Mike...boring, boring, boring... (actually I like bungling Susan...Mike is just sooo dull!). I did chuckle when he was ribbing her about her being around a chocolate fountain and a white dress...and what would happen with 40 doves flying over her. I would rather have liked to see those events happen to her on her wedding day, not talk about how to avoid them. The only salvation is that we know they can't be happy yet...otherwise there'd be no story.

Lynette's mother...what a tough woman she is. I like this...two strong willed women butting heads, should be some good battles there. She's has to have some kind of a underlying motive for being there, that I guess will be revealed...but haven't we already seen the mother's with motives stories before? Gabby's mother came in wanting something...I've forgotten what it was...then Orson's scheming mother. Now another mother...the writer's better have something fresh up their sleeves!

Gabby (loved the dress!) ... it would be too funny if she got caught kissing Carlos in the cabana. Victor is not going to be too pleased about his image when she is either caught or she asks him for an annulment/divorce...not too pleased at all!

Ugly Betty was hands down a far better season finale...this one...I'll rank 6 out of 10.

Thats what i thought would happen but then i remembered that he is probably having sex with Gabby and it would have been too late.

You know what would have been a fun twist though? if Carlos was about to remarry gabby and when the minister asks, does anyone object Eddie walks in and says, "stop i am pregnant" even though she was on the pill.

And Bree, well... she's been stuck with Orson, and he's just boring.

They are awesome together. Orson is the male Bree so they compliment her well.

Orson is a real trooper throughout Bree family Drama. He is a good guy. They still didn't give a reason (or did they?) as to why he ran over Mike with his car but it doesn't really matter as he is fully redeemed in my eyes.

Maybe, but i guess thats why they showed us the scene with her mother to help it make sense for the viewers. And they were making it seem like Carlos was her last chance at happiness. Although, you would think a woman would put her child above the love of a man. What could have driven her to the point where she felt she had to do that? Did she think of Travers at all?

I liked that alot, it was a very good twist.

Really? good for you but i don't see how anybody could tell it was a fake because Bree said something like, "Thanks for doing this Orson i know its alot to ask" and then Orson said something like, " No matter whose baby this is, i'll love it as if it were my own" i don't remember the exact wording but how the scene played out it was clear that Bree was pregnant with another mans baby, the only question was when this could have happened. I think i even for a second thought it was the crazy pharmacist George who had gotten her pregnant from last season lol.

Further more the original plan before they went on the honeymoon was to have the baby adopted.

Even though i like the twist and want it to work out without Danielle ruining it, i did wonder why Bree is going through all this trouble just to keep up appearances. Teenage pregnancy happens. Its not that embarrassing anymore, but i am not stressing that because i like it.

Well if anyone remembers Edie was dreaming at the beginning of the episode so maybe that was a dream too.

But honestly if they do the whole dream thing then they will lose alot of credibility. They need to keep her dead.

anything could happen with Edie. She could be hanging for a minute and the beam could break and she could go "Oh,well." and than try and drown herself and the floor colapses under the bath tubs weight. This is desperate housewives. I also knew Bree was faking. She's not stealing her daughters baby she's just gonna pass it off as hers cause Bree worries what people will think. It's stupid cause Bree's shit always comes out. Why she even tries to do these things I don't get? I love how her daughter is with nuns nad Bree's like were coming up and I'm gonna bake you a .....click.

I think when Mike threw him over the roof the two of them decided that they'd each committed a crime but wouldn't rat each other out. At least I think. Personally I thought that whole thing was so dumb that I lost interest. I don't think Orson has redeemed himself at all. I think the writers have just given up on his creepy nature.

Yes, Travers. That's why I think her suicide is a scripted cop-out. I realize that suicide is a complex issue and no one really understands why people do it, but usually there's more than one reason. Edie didn't seem to have any other reasons to kill herself so it seemed silly to me.

Early on in the season Mark Cherry said a main character would die, but no one seemed to talk about that much in reviewing the show. (People on other message boards don't believe she died. I do.) Orson ran over Mike, because Mike was in the apartment the night Orson's mistress died. Orson was afraid Mike would remember. (The scene with Mike in Orson's dentist office.). I think Gabby will get pregnant complicating her relationship with Victor, but it'll be Carlos' baby from what happened the day of the wedding. I don't think Victor will be around too long, because they are moving story lines along much more quickly then when the show began.

Maybe (just maybe, mind you) Edie will be dead from her hanging but only for a a short while. She'll awaken in a hospital with doctors (and Gaby and Teri Hatcher, too ) surrounding her and saying how she had died - literally died - for a few moments.

Everyone will be shocked but Edie will murmer, "Yeah, I know. I met the spirit of our narrator, the desperate housewife who committed sucide before the show began, and she told me something..."

Then, of course, her head will slump back onto the pillow and she'll either fall into sleep or a light coma (I haven't figured that part out yet).

Then the camera will zoom in on Teri Hatcher as she says to Gaby, "Gosh. I wonder what she said to her..."

And then there will be a commercial (probably for a female-oriented pharmaceutical product which the audience is reminded "that nursing mothers shouldn't use it because its been shown to create stomach ulcers in babies who drink mother's milk").

Oh, please! Until she started banging Carlos she was never concerned about dying alone. Like I said, it comes down to bad writing.

Great finale, i'm looking forward to Lynettes storyline the most next season - out of all the females on the show she by far the better actress so i'm guessing it'll be an emotional but great preformance from her. I also love her mother, for some strange reason - i think even though shes being a bitch you can tell she loves her daughter, although this is Wisteria Lane so she'll probably sell one of he children or something.

Susan should die, thats about the only decent storyline that characters got left. Her daughters more interesting than her and shes hardly got screen time. Edie's storyline with Carlos was good, i hope it doesn't end this way. Although i think Gaby is/will be pregnant with Carlos' baby - and the Victor guy, i think hes going to be sorry he messed with Gaby lol.

I was so happy. I thought I was going to scream AT LAST for the happy ending (Mike and Susan thing), but the suddenly Edie stole the show. And I felt for her. But good for her - I bet she would be saved and she would be officially the 5th Desperate Housewife, instead of being dragged along as he 5th face, just to break the fans confusion between the first 4 housewives and the 4 girls from Sex ATC.

I love the disciplined and responsible Andrew. Hot.
