What makes this picture for me is the look of two buddies - sure I like that they are naked - but the smiles - the pose - they could be best friends going camping or fishing or any other run of the mill activity.

The camaraderie and the shared friendship and non-sexual nature make the picture that much better.

Are they lovers? Maybe yes, maybe no. But clearly they are friends.
