Not much in my experience but it doesn't matter so long as he's fully functional.

Maybe he was worried that he'd scare guys away if he admitted to having 10". 8" would be more than enough for me, and I suspect for most guys. I'm glad for you that the sex was good but a true 10-incher might not mean great sex for everyone.

I've never asked for size before a hookup and it's rarely mentioned. I'd be suspicious of a guy who is obsessed with how many inches he has, like it's all that matters. A hookup site I used to use would allow guys to self rate as "below average", "average", "above average", "large" and "monster" or they could choose not to say. Guys would also have the option of posting a picture. These days, hooking up in a forest, I don't know until I get a squeeze in and the pants come down. It's not part of how I rate them or whether I accept sex. Hell, at my age I'll take what I can get, lol. If he's willing, not a jerk, and agrees to use a condom, I'm happy.

I've had great sex with smaller and bigger dicks, and I've had bad sex with smaller and bigger dicks. I do like to know what I'm getting so I know to prepare more thoroughly for a bigger dick, and bring magnum condoms. But I'm happy if he's willing and fully functional.

Besides, what matters more than length, what I feel more than length, is thickness. We should be rating dicks by circumference, not length.

I think he must have meant 6" soft, because when he got hard he was definitely closer to 9" or 10"!
