A group of people sitting in a Jewish temple..... chances are they're Jewish.

A group of people sitting in a restaurant holding menus..... chances are they're hungry.

A group of people sitting in a gay bathhouse..... chances are they're gay.

A group of people sitting at a republican convention..... chances are they're republicans.

I think It's a Meta concept, not a sub concept.

To really understand the impact of Chris Matthews outburst, you have to consider the group that responded to it, and the fact that they are still untrusting of Romney, and they think he's blowing his shot at the white house by running an empty election full of fluff with no detail.

It also may be why the Platform they created is not in sync with Mitt Romney's campaign.

At it's surface it is one guy, a self admitted partisan named Chris Matthews, telling off the head of the other side for playing dirty politics.

Why it resonated immediately with the people that were in the audience is fascinating.

college students and ONE volunteers, clearly the bedrock of the Republican party.

That was THIS morning.

I watch the show regularly. Mika is good people. Her dad is a genius.

I think the fact that there was any applause in this setting was the telling aspect. It isn't the usual response for these kinds of programs. I have to think that there are as many sane Republicans out there just cringing when Romney or Prepuce go to the foreigner thing. My Republican friends in New Hampshire tell me that they think it does great damage to their chances this year.

He doubles down and calls Loki full of shit

When he's the one exploding poop (ode to Rareboy) from many openings

Chris is going thru a severe midlife+ crisis

The desire to be "the one"

And he was rude and lost the war

Your friends in New Hampshire represent a New England mindset growing increasingly independent again.

I am having dinner with a friend tonight that works for the Brown Senate campaign, and he is incredibly distressed that the national party is removing Browne's chances of winning.
