So I saw Harry Potter 5 this morning and you know whe nhe can see what Voldermort is doing cause they have a connection of some sort and when Harry has dreams about him doing stuff (ie. bitting Mr.Weasely) it sounded like he was jacking off or having a wet dream it sounded like an orgasm lol did anyone else notice that?
 
No, I was so into the movie that I didn't think about it that way. When I watch or read HP, I get way too involved in the plot and action that I would never let my mind wander into that kind of territory.
 
movie was better than the 4th, but failed in comparision to the first 3
where they had important info, or tried for number 3,
the last 2 really just focused on the action and not anything else
i think they skiped about 10 chapter

I haven't read any of the books and I think that this one was the best of all the movies so far.
 
I saw the movie and greatly enjoyed it. Although it differed from the book, and lets be serious, it was almost nine hundred pages in book form, so i expected heavy edits. I feel they did keep the spirit, mood, and tone of the book intact. It is by far my favorite HP movie.

I was so scared they weren't going to stay true to the book, but they did and I was thrilled about it. I believe everything was mentioned to a point, but all they could cram into about 2 hours. I can't wait for the 6th movie...ya'll need to the read that book...it blows all the other books before it out of the water. (!)(!)(!)(!)(!)(!)(!)(!)
 
I ended up watching this at midnight with some friends for my birthday. As a non book reading muggle, I thought the movie worked out just fine. Once I learned about just how much they edited though, I was pretty surprised at all that was cut. Sure it would have made a longer movie, but if Lord of the Rings can get away with it, then why not? Again as a non book reading muggle, it was a great movie and that Umbridge is a bitch indeed.
 
Yeah I was surprised that they didn't include that it was she who ordered the dementors to attack Harry at the beginning. It would have shown just how evil she was. Overall though it was a good movie, I was a little upset about the cuts, but completely understood seeing as how it's like a 500 or 600 page book lol.
 
im agree i id see it and i enjoyed it and thought it was much better than the fourth film... and it did seemed it went by pretty fast. but it was good i wanna seee it again..lol

actually lord of the rins didn't really get away with it...they did cut alot out of it...but in the directors cut it's better because the things that they cut in the final ..well cut...where little things that ade alot of diffrence....wt i'm trying to say i haven't watched harry potter but i think books like these two shouldn't be cut...lord of the rings the directors version is better than the realesd version and more ture to the book...ok i'm tierd and kinda rambling on...i'll get going now...bye...:P

yes, they cut out a lot but I dont' really want to sit through a four hour movie. I'm sure they'll be an exended cut on DVD once all seven movies are out...

Meh.

I look at the book and the movie as two separate entites that tell the same story.. just in different ways.

Yeah, my four favorite scenes from the book aren't in the movie... but once I just got lost in the movie, I didn't care.

I've seen in twice now.. loved it more the second time.
 
I have waited for 8 months! I was sooo excited to see it, I was in the moment! I watched it, I am sad to say - disappointed. It was soooo rushed. Everything went by so fast and almost jumbled. Sirius & Lupin who were in the book the whole way - were on the screen for 36 seconds.

The scene at the Ministry of Magic was talked about and hyped up so much, even by the actors. The whole scene was 2 min 30 sec long! DISAPPOINTING!

Whatever...still a good movie though. I thought this would be my favorite movie since the book is my favorite book, but 3 is still the best movie.
