Did anyone watch Heroes?

Is anyone else reading the graphic novels on NBC's website?

In case you didn't know, head over to http://www.nbc.com/heroes and click on the link that says Graphic Novels.


They're usually about 7 pages long, and tend not to include too much....

But the last one did!

For those who hate spoilers, I will use the old white text to avoid it....For those who wanna see, just highlight below:

The story revolves around Mr. Bennett going to tell Eden's father that she is dead. We also see Mr. Bennett and some of his lackies pump Sylar full of tranquillizers after Eden's death, so Sylar didn't escape according to the comic, Bennett's still got him.

Thomas Dekker (NBC's Heroes) is set to play John Connor in Fox's SF drama pilot The Sarah Connor Chronicles, based on the Terminator film franchise, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Dekker, who plays Claire's friend Zach on Heroes, will join Lena Headey in the title role. Sarah was played by Linda Hamilton in the films; John was played by Edward Furlong in 1991's Terminator 2: Judgment Day and by Nick Stahl in 2003's Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

The action of The Sarah Connor Chronicles takes place after the events depicted in Terminator 2 and follows Sarah, a modern warrior and loving single mom to 15-year-old son John.

Dekker also had a recurring role on The CW's 7th Heaven. NBC is owned by NBC Universal, which also owns SCIFI.COM.

Zach is no longer gay. I just read this online.

I love this show! I can't wait until the next episode arrives in late January. I need my Heroes fix dammit!

I agree, the last episode seemed rushed and not as intriguing as the previous episodes. One thing, did anyone notice that in Peter's dream (the one where he went in a coma and dreamt of himself as the bomb) that it was all the Heroes having their symbolic costumes on (Claire (cheerleader outfit), Matt (cop outfit), the rest what they were wearing) and that when Peter started the dream he was in Sylar's outfit (Sylar watch, dark trenchcoat).

Does this mean that Peter may not be the bomb even though everything else is indicating that he is.

And just when we got our hopes up... damn NBC! They've got a peacock for their mascot of all things, and now Zach is straight!? Oh well...

Well they can't suddenly change the storyline. He has basically already said that he is gay when confronted by that other cheerleader who called him gay. Afterwards, he said that what she said didn't bother him and that he is happy with who he is.

I suspect the above is misinformation.

As for Peter being in Skylar's outfit, it would make sense as his power is the ability to temporarily assume other people's powers. So in the dream he may be representing Skylar.

It is not misinformation and the creator of the show has actually commented on it.

It was certainly not our intention to confuse the issue of Zach’s character being gay. We have too much respect for our audience to do that intentionally. However, it has simply become too complicated behind the scenes to push this issue further with this particular character. We apologize for misleading the audience, and wish that we could have handled things better on our end

Did anyone see the mimi Marathon tonight, they showed some previews of the 2nd half of the season and it looks awesome.

I caught it as well and I agree the previews for upcoming episodes look great. It looks like we'll get a lot of answers and plot development unlike that other show with a nuch of characters, secrets and mysteries I shall not name.

I have to agree, I'm disappointed about Zach. I'll still watch the show however because he was only a small part of an even larger story. The story itself still has my interest.
 
I just hope they don't do something stupid like give Zach a GF out of nowhere or hook him up with Claire, that would be beyound stupid. However I am glad it appears he is in at least a few episodes next season.

To be honest? I think they are going to show him having some deep seated crush for Claire. The last few episodes he's been in I get this 'vibe.' I could be totally wrong here...

Only he doesn't really 'remember' Claire now. He could still have a crush on her I suppose but I doubt it.

That could possibly work, I'm just worried that to make sure people know he's straight and all of a sudden they have him and Claire making out. So far the writer's haven't disappointed me so I'm probably worrying for nothing. Once again I just want the story to progress naturally as opposed to being thrown in just to show that Zack's straight.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. The writers are pretty good with building relationships and establishing clear continuity and since he never specifically stated he was gay, AND he no longer 'remembers' Claire, they'd pretty much HAVE to build a relationship for them as opposed to just throwing them together.
