Did anyone watch Heroes?

Keep in mind that we're only assuming that Claire's father is Syler. Given this show's record, it could be anyone, really.

I just don't see Claire's father as Sylar...

If he was, wouldn't he have killed Claire by now considering Sylar is killing off all other people with powers?

If the above statement is true, then Claire's father would also have no use for his mind-erasing sidekick.

Plus, Sylar seems to have everything going for him:
1.) Flight
2.) Healing
3.) Telekinesis
4.) Mind Control

Those are the ones we saw, and as such Claire's father wouldn't need a sidekick to do any of this stuff for him.

Of course, this is just my belief...and of course that degree in Villainknowledgy does help.

Nah, I just think Claire's father has something to do with the nuclear bomb that's going to go off.

this is going to suck when this season ends and we have to wait for the next season...

thats why I hate these shows :P

With 24 at least they come to a conclusion at the end of the season.

cant wait for the next episode!!

I planned to watch from the start but for some reason didn't get around to do it. I had started DVR-ing every episode and last night I finally decided to watch the entire season thus far and it is definitely amazing.

I am definitely hooked. It's the right mix of sci-fi, mystery, drama, comedy and everything else. I can't believe how addicted I already am.

OK... who tuned in tonight?

I have to say, I knew Micah was going to have some sort of ability! His mom and dad both have their own so it would make sense that he would have something as well. And I loved that he knew he was talking to "Jessica" as opposed to his mother! Great episode.

I KNEW Micah would have a power. Apparently, he's aware of his mother's alter ego. I'm glad we finally have a name for it instead of just "other Niki". The second Micah called her, I was like "oh yeah, Jessica's gonna kick some ass!"

Am I the only one who's a little bored by Matt's storyline? I just can't get into him and his wife, although I did enjoy him punching that guy for sleeping with his wife. I was also a little bothered that we met yet another new person with a superpower. The Human Torch guy better be good because the writers are going a bit overboard with all of these characters.

I'm starting to get annoyed with Peter's stupidity. He's so convinced that he can fly. You'd think that when he finished that painting that he'd realize what his power really is.

I know something is building with Claire and her brother. Something is going to happen. I don't know what, but it's going to be big. Maybe he has a power too.

I like Matt's character, but I'm bored with his love life. MOVE ON!

The Human Torch seems to be more of a Captain Atom I think. And I thought it was just a wee bit frightening when he mentioned blowing up like a nuclear bomb. Foreshadow anyone?

As for Claire and her brother? I hadn't thought about that angle. He did seem particularly freaked out.

I noticed the nuclear bomb comment, too. The writers aren't exactly subtle sometimes.

Well it looks like Micah has the same power as the main character from the comic, "Ex Machina." The hero in "Ex Machina" can communicate with machinery. He can stop guns from going off, etc. I love how Micah acted like he was just playing around on the phone, because why wouldn't DL believe him? the phone said "out of order." LOL nice! :D
Like a lot of you, I love this show too. I got hipped months before it aired. NBC was airing a commercial with Claire falling from the cliff, or whatever and recording it on camera. When I saw her pop her bones back into place, I was like, "Damn! I'm going to keep a close eye on this show." And I've been nothing but amazed. I don't want to hype the show up too much, because whenever I do that, the show starts to lose it's greatness. ;)

Probably the weakest episode so far, however I'm still loving it. Micah has an awesome power and knows about his Mom, totally cool. Am I the only one falling in love with Zach. To answer some questions I'm sure Peter knows his power, there was nothing to me that shows he still thinks his power is to fly, the beginning was a dream, and when he treated to fly at Nathan's house well his brother was right there. And Jimmy we don't know the purpose of the abduction or what Claire's Dad Motives are. That's part of the fun of the show so far.

Are you serious? All he talked about was how he can fly.
I'm so sick of Peter's story. It's just him whining on and on about flying with everyone else telling him he can't.
If he's so sure he can fly then why hasn't he tried again?

The nuclear bomb comment does seem quite foreshadowing. Also, I was thinking about how Claire is involved in it. Maybe she's immune to his powers?

I really don't like the cop.

Well the 1st part was a dream, and when he was talking about it with his brother, well his brother was right there. I have nothing against the cop and semi-like Peter, but I can really see why you don't like either. And the most popular theroy with Claire and Nuke guy is that sylar kills him then steals his powers, the kills and steals Claire's powers so he can survive the attack on NYC and do it again in other city's.

I got the impression his powers were like rogue's. He could fly cause he was near his brother who could fly and he could paint the future cause the artist was near him.I could be wrong. I usually am!

No, that's correct.

Peter is apparently just to stupid and/or obsessed with flying to realise this.

It's not really like Rogue at all, though - Rogue didn't gain people's powers simply by being near them - she can only acquire their powers by draining their life essence - and unless she all but kills them (or actually does kill them) her acquisition of those powers are only temporary. Perhaps Syler is a little more like Rogue if, through his memory wiping and killing or whatever he does, he "steals" their life essence... But, if it's true that Syler is a future form of Peter (which I don't necessarily believe) then I guess you could use some circular logic and say that if Syler is really Peter, and Syler is like Rogue, then Peter is like Rogue, too, he just doesn't know it yet, but that just gets complicated.

Well, seems my general assumption was correct:

Claire's father is not Sylar, but he knows he's out there.

The major question is, where does this put Claire's father on the meter now?

The show certainly makes him out to be a bad guy, yet he seems concerned with saving Claire's life and such.

But he also still has some of those baddy qualities, forcing Eden (who obiviously has some kind of power of suggestion) to make Issac take the drugs.

So, is the jury still out...Or can we say that he's generally a good guy?

IMO the juries still out, there is a wide range of places he can be on the meter. Great EP. Radioactive Man is escaped, memory waitress is killed by sylar and Hiro goes back in time

I think Claire's father is a "good guy" but only insofar as he is out to stop Sylar.

What about Mohinder? Are his dreams a manifestation of some sort of power? He was dreaming about events that did happen. And poor Hiro and the red-haired waitress! I'm guessing he made it back in time because of the photo on the bulletin board, but where is he now? Very curious!

And I must admit, the promo for next weeks episode made the hairs on my arms stand on end! :D

Claires father is to Heroes, what Magneto is to X-men.

That picture of Hiro at that girls birthday party has me curious... and are those marks on thier necks just from tracking devices?
