Did anyone watch Heroes?

i'm still only catching this on friday's on sci fi, but gosh i really like it. i get the impression claire's dad is a bad guy, but i don't have a strong feeling on that. are they all trying to "save the cheerleader" from sylar?

I kind of want Claire's father to be a villian, considering I like villians more than heroes and he seems like he'd make a good one.

As for stopping Sylar, that does seem to be the general message behind it.

So, what exactly does Sylar do? As far as I can tell, he takes the brains of the people he's killing...Probably something to do with getting their power, but then why kill the waitress instead of going after a stronger power like Hiro?

Who knows...Next monday should be good.

It looks awesome. It looks like they originally only filmed 9 or 10 episodes before the show was picked up for a whole season and this is the climax episode. I can't wait for it.

As mentioned before, I am fascinated by the character that is Claire's father.

Judging by the promo, he's at the steps in Issac's painting....

So, unless one of the Heroes helps him...I'm worried he might get killed off.

Yes, his character is one of the more interesting mysteries in the show. I hope he isn't killed off he has to much potential for the show.

Look at the scene of Peter failling from the building, he's falling with a dark figure wearing a baseball cap...Could be Sylar.

Also, take a look at who Peter and Claire run from at the steps, the shadow figure doesn't seem to be wearing Sylar's baseball cap...So it could be Claire's father.

Well, here I go again.

While surfing, I found this video with about four clips from Monday night's episode, "Homecoming".

There are some MAJOR SPOILERS inside, so you might not want to watch this video if you're one of those purists who like to go into an episode fresh.

Also, for our friends with slower modems, I will post in white type basically what you see in the video so you don't have to wait for it to load.



SPOILERS BELOW: HIGHLIGHT TO READ:

1.) Nathan buys Issac's missing painting from Linderman, and Simone tells Peter all about it.

2.) Claire's new friends in high school give her quite the surpirse, and reason to be at the homecoming.

3.) Zach sort of, in so many words, kind of comes out to Claire and we discover Mr. Bennett's plan to keep Claire away from the homecoming.

4.) Peter and Claire meet for the first time.

Claire's dad is so obviously not a bad guy.
Didn't he say he's been helping people with abilities?

I know he forced Isaac back onto the drugs, but that was really only out of worry for his daughter, and he did promise to help him master his power afterwards.

I'm really liking Eden now, I think she has a lot of potential as a really interesting character so I hope she keeps making appearances.

Next episode looks awesome. Maybe Peter will finally do something worthwhile

ok well i just saw this last episode so i agree now, claire's dad isn't a bad guy. this last episode changed a lot about what we knew of him before. before it was all on the fence and you just didn't know. But now he's obviously trying to at least save his daughter and i suspect he is trying to help the others.

so who's the little boy? i didn't catch what was on the file Mohinder got out of the desk...

I wonder if the 'save the cheerleader, save the world' thing is about her power. Like...once Sylar kills her and steals her power, no one's going to be able to kill him. And since there's a Nuclear Power guy, killing him and stealing his power would give him the ability to blow up New York.

Can't wait for tonight's episode.

I think it's supposition.

Sylar has demonstrated a number of powers. He also knows about far more Heroes than even Chandra Suresh did. And a number of the victims he's killed had their brains removed.

I think Sylar can use people's power much like Rogue from the X-men. I also wonder if Milo's character has the same ability.

Has that ever been confirmed or even suggested in the show?

I thought the power stealing was just a theory?

Like legionsynch said it's assumed but has quite a bit of proof. All of his victims have the tops of their head cut off along with their brains taken out, and Sylar has used multiple powers in the little time we've seen him.

So was anyone else kind of suprised at just who Sylar killed? I didn't see that one coming.

I wonder if Claire was the cheerleader who needed to be saved at all. Maybe they needed to save Jackie.

I was very confused by what happened at the end with Eden and the Haitian. We won't find out what happens next for a while because apparently, the show is going back 6 months to explain how everything started. I like that idea because it'll answer some questions, but the good action just started and I want to find out what happens, not only with Sylar, but with Jessica and DL, as well.

Speaking of them, I was very intrigued by the shot of Niki in front of Jessica's grave during the preview.

This is the most exciting and frustrating show at the same time.

I hope during this flashback (I wonder how many weeks they'll drag it out) that we see a lot more of Zach. His gayness finally came out and now we're going back in time. He's so cute!

Very good ep. Claire was saved, Sylar is not going to kill anyone for a while, and was it me or did Zach look prettier than usual I wanted to jump him every time he was on screen.
