Did Barack Give Hillary the Finger?

I was over perusing the Hannity Board and noticed that this topic was being discussed with great interest.

What do you think? Yes or No?

I've known lots of people who scratch, point, and push buttons with that finger. It's good for laughs, but it doesn't mean anything.
Someone like Obama should be more aware, though, of what he's doing. If elected president, imagine the furor if he scratched like that at a dinner with, say, the Chinese premier.

Their consensus is that Barack flipped her off. Most of them seem to think it was pretty funny, though.

I have to admit that even as a Barack supporter, I think he flipped her off, as well. Him smiling after pausing for a few seconds was what convinced me.

I totally agree with you here...it was perfect timing and the perfect pause and smile to just be an inconvenient and innocent scratch.

I don't think Barack did it on purpose, but it is good to think he did. Hillary needs it.

They also cheered when Randi Rhodes called Senator Clinton "a fucking whore."

This crowd belongs in a frat house, not the White House.


Serious problems will confront our next President. Hillary again showed this Wednesday she's prepared to deal with them; Barack showed again that he is not -- he's good at ridiculing someone who bests him, and that's fine in a frat but as we've seen in George Bush it isn't productive in a President.

I am going to have to disagree with you here, ICO. That pause and then the smile on Barack's face said it all. After the stuff the Clinton camp has pulled, it's likely justified, but at least this gives more credibility to our side that is willing to admit things like this. Because you know if the situation was reversed, and Clinton did this, the Clinton supporters would deny, deny, deny and spin it every which way.

I agree, ICO. He had been making sly comments about Sen. Clinton's tactics in the debate. Then he said, "She was in her element." That was what the crowd was responding to.

The finger motion was something that most of us probably do many times without realizing it.

People do strange things when in the company of fans and friends...I guess it depends how comfortable he felt and how pumped his ego was at the time he did it...

That's kind of the way I look at it. With the crap her and her husband have pulled with all but saying the words "yes, he is a Muslim terrorist", then I think the finger is well-deserved in this case.

And as far as the last couple posts, despite the cameras rolling, I don't think he would have had a problem taking a chance doing it, if he could do it in a sly and convincingly enough manner. Which he did, perfectly.
