The guy should retire either this cycle or the next (depending on redistricting). Now that I mention it, I am curious how much redistricting will take place (MA loses a seat) and how it will affect the 2012 elections. By Federal law, all states must complete the redistricting process before any federal voting can take place. Most likely, he will still be in my town since he does live there.

Personally, I am just glad nobody makes anti-Semitic comments about him on here like on a few other conservative sites and blogs.

The big shifts were from the rust belt and the north east to the south and the west. Most of that occurred during the expansion period during Bush 43's term. I know they took the census in 2010. However it is hard to move when your broke and out of work.

Who knows what it will be in ten years. Honestly in the information age why do we wait ten years to determine population density for our country?

Right but what I am saying is that was written in a time where the trip I make to work each day would have been accomplished maybe once a year if it was necessary.

So why don't we update the living breathing document to reflect our current lifestyle where in the last ten year period I have lived in six different states?

Ah I see your distinction. I thought you were wondering what the losses would reflect nationally. It should be fairly easy to determine how the districts will be redrawn in the 'loss' states. If they are controlled by the governor for instance and he is Democratic then it will be to the best advantage of his party. If they are redrawn by a republican congress of a state then vice versa.

Similar to Wisconsin shutting down DMV branches in primarily democratic areas while requiring a ID to vote that you acquire at a DMV.

Gerrymandering is part of the fiber of our nation. Right?

We are in agreement. I saw Sharpton's teleprompter meltdown. If he were a "real" anchor, he would have gone to hard copy immediately. I think NBC is too big to provide on-the-job-training. He has no business being on the air. It looked like a Saturday Night Live skit, except it wasn't funny. :mad:

As for my adventures - going on vacation next week - couple days on the cape- not sure about breathless but will do my best
