  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Did the religious right-wingers go after this commercial?

I haven't seen it until this morning and I can't believe they didn't get on this one:

This is an Italian made advert that has proved very popular in Italy, and here in Greece. Very amusing, and attractive.

That Catholic Italy should find such advertising appealing does suggest that religious right wingers can have a sense of humour.

I am not sure about Americans - more especially the religious right.

I didn't know that. Thanks.

Of course, there has never been a problem with the Philadelphia Cream Cheese angel as far as I know, even though Albert seems to be something of a 'toy boy'.

I am rather fond of toy boys appearing in TV advertising, if only to encourage me to not eat chocolate, and appreciate the boy.

This Greek made TV advert does add a certain quality to advertising chocolate, if only for the sexual allure of the toy boy. Religious right wingers should have no problem with this advert since it is all about forgiveness, and making up:

I have seen it several times. I never watched it till the end. I didn't even know there was that guy at the end. Quite a pity the angels aren't men. I would already have watched it till the end.

In Europe nobody noticed it.

I wonder what could be against it.

Most censured vids on Youtube are exactly like this one. You don't understand why they get censured. Seen from any angle whatsoever you don't understand. Youtube is loaded with worst censure ever.

1 - The angels don't look very 'angelic'.
2 - Abandoning God for a lowly human because of his deodorant.
3 - They broke as least 3 of the 7 Deadly Sins, and possibly 4.

Not very 'church-like'.
