Did you ever have a mouse in your house?

Yes, I do. Ever since they started doing freeway construction in the area we are getting a lot of rats in the neighborhood. I think one might of crawled up into my roof and got into the attic.

We put a mouse trap up there so if it dies, we will know when it smells. When it rained a couple of years ago real hard, some how a baby mouse got into my room, I put a trap behind my bed, was playing video games one night and I heard the mouse get it's leg caught in the trap, we killed it.

Then a couple of weeks later I didn't know the dead rat that was caught under my bed, started to smell and I thought maybe it was just something dead outside but then I looked under my bed and I saw a decomposed rat I almost threw up in my mouth. Disgusting!

Van-ee, you can't call a cardboard box a house.

OOT but there was this one time a mouse was like running away or something on the road and like this car came and like you know at the same time they like met and the mouse got squished and the car like just drove on and I was like "noooooooooooooooo".

True story. That was the most disgusting thing I was. Mouse guts. You need to drive a car through your house and make sure you like time it well.

I wish I did now, because it would so entertain my two cats.

Once, in a catless existence, I had mice in an apartment in Seattle.

I put out traps and caught one or two mice every day for two weeks!

Yes. I use rat poison and/or rat traps to get rid of them.

Had them, even with cats in the house. Had three last winter, and trapped them all. Put the expanding foam around the phone line, internet line, outside faucets, and none at all this year.

Wow! Even with cats in your house?! Maybe they're too well fed.

Another thing I've found helpful is to have a few chickens in the back yard. They will actually eat mice, scorpions, cockroaches, etc.

not in my house but I had one when I was staying at a hotel in NY....

That was awful the first 2 nights, then I kinda got used to it.
It can't hurt u hardcore or jump in ur bed I think.

I had that mouse for 1 week and a half and nothing bad happened, still when u hear things moving when ur falling asleep it's a lil bit disturbin ;)

No but i had a cat sat on my mat in a cap with a baseball bat listening to Take That at my flat when i lived in Ashgabat.

i live in the woods, i have mice, have been visited by squirrels, chip munks...i set mouse traps and then have my bf take the dead mices away...

I had one recently and it lurked around in this house for about two weeks before one of the cats killed it.

I seen a mouse run across the kitchen floor and go behind our hutch, and now we can't find him/her.........:cry:

I just washed the kitchen floor yesterday, and our house is very clean. Why did he pick my house to live in?

Nah! [-X

You're just being paranoid. ..|

He's there to get into your broccoli bites!

Yes, I did, and I caught him in a mouse trap and took him out to the woods and let him go. He never came back, guess he got the hint.

We had a mouse once. Used one of those No Touch/No See 'em traps. The mouse just walks inside it and it closes behind them. You never even have to look at it. Trap worked within hours. No more mousey.
