AOL is definitely still a provider, I know a lot of people who have email addys @aol.com

I dcon't know anybody who uses either of the other two.

I've never used any of them. I remember Prodigy being the first one I ever heard of, long before I knew how to turn a computer on**.

[**Now I know how - you snuggle up to it, whisper "oh, nice sexy computer" and other sweet stuff, and it gets turned on, LOL.]

I like AOL, as long as it is not higher than 9.1.

Anything else sucks.

Why do people have such a problem with AOL?

Because when they were on top they were huge assholes who didn't care if they lost a customer because they had so many. Now they are almost dead and I'm thrilled.

At one time I stopped using them for that reason. I came back to them because I used PeoplePC during the time I didn't use AOL. I took my computer in to have work done and found out I had over 3,000 viruses, dialers, adwears, etc.

Now I am scared to use anything else.

Verizon DSL or Fios or Cable internet works fine. Comcast includes free virus protection.
