If you wanna see Judas as a dumb pop song with no meaning, ok that's you, it doesn't mean Gaga, and fans, don't have another whole different perspective on it and it shouldn't really bother you that people see deep stuff in her music even if you don't always do. That's what I'm really trying to say.

Gotcha! ;).

:=D: :=D: Very well said, sir. ..|

It seems like the more Gaga tries to be groundbreaking and deep, the more her music comes across to me as convoluted and stale. She is her absolute greatest when she isn’t taking herself so fucking seriously. I just want her to stop trying to come up with these pseudo-philosophical reasons and explanation for the crazy things she wears and sings about. Just admit you do it for the fuck of it. Own your attention-whorism. More people would be able to appreciate her if she admitted her outrageous antics are just that. It’s just wigs, lipstick and a fucking meat dress, it’s not the representation of what’s wrong in the world. It’s just an antic for her to sell more records.

Bravo!!! I applaude you as well sir :=D: .

After seeing her perform it today on Ellen Degeneres...I THINK I'm starting to like it more and more, maybe it's because of the choreography. ^_^

Yeaah! I loved it. I dont care if others dont like it, as long as Im enjoying it thats what matters.

It's not bad but it just sounds like Poker Face meets Bad Romance so it does seem like she's running out of ideas. Of course, that is to be expected when you try to rush the creative process and churn these 'hits' out in order to capitalise on her lucrative 'brand', so to speak.

I only like her pre-Born this Way.

I haven't heard the album myself but with songs like these you can be sure Judas and Born This Way are not even close to the level of songs the album will have. Take a listen yourself:

This is the next single:

By listening to things like this I don't think Born This Way could be, by any means, a representation of the whole album, as some people took it. And while Judas is very similar to her past work I did hear how it started to change and explore with different sounds. So for now I'll take it as if she was introducing us to what we'll really have on the album, little by little.

Remember how a few posts back someone was trying to interpret the deep deeep meaning of Judas and all that bullshit and I just said that they were over analyzing the lyrics and that it was just about being in love with a bad guy? Well listen to Gaga say it herself:

http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/b240613_lady_gaga_uncut_im_really_delusional.html

On the 1.00 minute mark she says: "Judas is essentially about me going back to an ex-boyfriend and still being in love with someone that betrayed me, someone that was bad for me".

See little monsters? Sometimes you just want to believe Gaga's lyrics -and antics- are bigger, greater and more philosophical than they really are, but it is a simple song about loving the wrong guy.

That being said, the video is AWESOME, waaaaay better than the song.

The song doesn't do anything for me at all.Born This Way was fun, pulsing, pounding, affirming.Judas just doesn't sound like it knows what it wants to be.

On the 1.00 minute mark she says: "Judas is essentially about me going back to an ex-boyfriend and still being in love with someone that betrayed me, someone that was bad for me".

And she's also said countless times how it also is about forgiving that darkness and being able to move on. Since when can a song only have one meaning? #-o
