Did you set your clock ahead. In my area daylight savings time starts tonight.

Thanks for the reminder (I never remember on my own)

Starts in another 3.5 hours here...

Only need to change the microwave clock - everything else does it automatically.

We have two more weeks to wait. BST starts on the last Sunday in March. Generally I don't adjust my clocks until the following morning.

Not yet. I will move my clock forward tomorrow during work which will cut a whole hour out of my workday.

I hate it. Adjusting the clocks doesn't take very long. Adjusting my body clock takes over a week. :(

We should adjust the time in the appropriate direction by thirty minutes just one more time, and then stop doing it. It's a decent compromise for both ends of the winter and summer extremes.

I too hate that damn pointless time change thing.

Reset a couple things Fri evening, a couple yesterday afternoon, and one today.
Still some others that I'll eventually get around to.

Apparently, no one remembers that permanent DST was already tried in the 1970s. No one remembers, or they deny, what happened. Parents had an absolute fit because of their school kids waiting for schoolbuses on cold, dark streetcorners for three months in the Winter. They raised such an uproar about the danger, that permanent DST only lasted one season. So yeah, let's ignore and deny and reject the reality of what happened when this was already tried. Let's do the same thing and expect something different. Is there anything different in this legislation, that will cause something different to happen? Not that I see. This is a bad idea.

What was the No?

I have yet to adjust the clock in the car or climb up the wall to change the one at work.

Just did the microwaves and two wall clocks a little bit ago.

Out here in the Mojave Desert (Arizona), we do not observe DST, but Mountain Standard all year. DST would be stupid here as the purpose of it was to save electracy by not using lights until later. BUT, in the summer our temperature is mostly over 110F up to 125+ and that extra hour of air conditioning would be a massive load on the electrical grid.

Bedroom: My clock radio, watch, digital thermometer.
Livingroom: Battery clock I made for my mother 40 years ago, wall clock, another digital thermometer, (No) My roommate's alarm clock.
Kitchen: Microwave, stove top clock.

I did! I have a reminder that pops up on my computer the evening before both time changes. It lists for me those devices that won't change on their own and I also have listed those I no longer care to change...like a wall timer that, if the time is set it could act as an alarm. But I just use the countdown timer feature. The active list is down to about 3 items. I don't set the microwave because I never cook by the delayed start feature...but mainly it's because the shortest glitch in a power drop it resets to 0000. So it is not worth the trouble for me to set it each time.
