There are so many different types of people and so many people that are about different things...INCLUDING people who mix and match so many different looks you can't really...tell...what they are going for. Top/Bottom/Vers. Bear/Twink/Chub...(standard stuff ok...I get). Otherwise...I don't really approve of labels on anyone. (unless they are from a store.).

I'm not sure if a pup is the same as an otter. From what someone told me, an otter is a guy who is of average weight, can be hairy. But I'm sure I got it wrong.
 
Labels are great ways to quickly roughly categorize people. What they are not good for is judging people.

For example, it's much easier to say "I saw this hot cub at the gym" than to say "I saw this hot younger/submissive large hairy guy at the gym". Especially when you and/or your friend likes that kind of guy, and you'd be repeating yourself over and over and over again if you didn't use the label.

Just don't judge people based on labels. That's the bad part about labels.
