Well let start by stating from personal experience........I am 45 yrs old and I am very shy about being loud during sex, I'm not talking about dirty talk but moaning and grunting sounds.......u know? !oops! Grunting and moaning very loudly.....well Friday night I hooked up with my straight/bi 25 yr old 'friends with benefits'.....I say straight/bi friend because he says I'm the only other man he has sex with he only has sex with women....(I know!! Trust......another later conversation) :!: Ok...back to the point......We were in the middle of 69 position and he found a spot on me that made me get loud with a ohhhh sound.......he stops and looks at me. Then went back to the same spot and I do it again.....a loud moan. This flipped a switch in him and also in me....lol.....The louder I moaned or grunted ....he loved it and it showed in his performance. So the question is are u loud or quiet during sex??? Because I found out it makes a very big difference.
 
I am not loud, but I do moan when I make out and/or bottom. I am a quiet top though, but moaning/grunting is a HUGE turn on for me. I'd say sex isn't really that fun for me if the other guy stays quiet. Talking however I am not a huge fan of. I mean, a word or an urging here and there is one thing, but if they talk too much it gets distracting, and dirty talking is just gross to me.
 
I never really considered myself a loud person during sex till friends stayed a night at our house after a few too many drinks told me I was : )

I am usually quiet.

Occasionally I will let out a bit of noise or an unintended sound, but usually I don't do the whole shebang of moaning and groaning and screaming.

I had an ex once that used to and it really put me off. lighter moaning and groaning is great, not a problem. I usually see changes in a partners eyes and face to see how they are enjoying things.
