I was given a few episodes of Shameless on a jump drive so I could see what people were talking about. What a horrible show.

They are supposed to be poor and starving, yet scraping a lot of food into the trash after every meal.

But, it's the way that they fling the toilet plunger around in the kitchen above the sink and people's heads before they put the damn thing under the kitchen sink that makes me want to scream. LOL

There was a feature on the news last night about companies that share their profits via stock to their employees.

Imagine a world in which the workers got the benefits instead of bloated executives.

We have lots of resources and wealth. So many could live better lives if they were not on the margins.

Since long before the Covid thing I've always used hand-sanitizer when outside; I just assume that every public surface is covered in piss and shit.

Another thing came to mind. When Trump hired family members as part of his staff, I found that stunningly offensive, and disgusting. For presidents to acknowledge their wives can play a helpful role is nothing new, albeit they were peipheral before Eleanor, Ladybird and Hillary (not counting Edith Wilson, a surrogate president.)

That still was not offensive, and it was seemly.

But appointing family members to cabinet posts is an obscenity, and there should be something in American law to forbid it. We elect no one to enrich his family, or form a cartel by blood in office. The Congress should act now to ban it in all future administrations.

Yeah - chicken adobo is good. I liked most of the food in the Philippines. My favorite food in the Asia countries was in Taipei
