I couldn't let it go..because everywhere I go there must be at least "some" frozen merchandise. Last time in walgreen I saw this abomination hat:

No. But I have principal: I couldn't hate something I dont know. My mom and my niece all saying that is a good movie. I haven't watch it because I have "scar" with anything 3D Animation (dropped a major there) so I ignored Frozen until now. However, since my fam and their small children crazy about this..and even labeled Frozen as Disney"classic" so..I wanna know whats so hype about that? 8-)
 
^ It is a Disney classic (officially)and the hype is mainly the fact that the merchandise is making Disney a LOT of money. The music is a big hit with a lot of people, but I will admit if the music was removed from the film then the story would be dull compared to earlier movies.

Disney are capitalist that brainwash kids with their merchandise and right now every girl wants an Elsa doll, dress and all her stuff.:rolleyes: Disney will keep promoting Frozen merchandise as much as they can.

How can anyone hate frozen? Is it just because it's become such a pop culture phenomenon.

It is not forced on anyone. Nobody holds a gun to your heads and makes you watch it or acknowledge it but if you dislike it then ignore it like I have now learned to ignore fifty shades of rubble .
 
Thought the movie was nice - and I don't have kids so don't have to watch it on repeat at all.
It's fine by me :)
 
It was okay, the snowman was not that funny. The songs were not that good. Let it Go had a good hook but the rest of the song was a throw away musical number. Like album filler. Tangled was better. Plus you have 2 queens and the sister was a bigger character than the queen herself.

The fine thing for us..we have "luxury" to dealing with that once but for those having small kids and their kids happen to be die hard fans, I saw a sample from someone I know..and that's frustrating. -_-

I agreed with you. Let it go actually a sloppy production. If the composer knew that frozen would be a massive success, he/she will jolt down better arrangement:

there are some keys I like and some are too much for my taste like I thought it should goes to other direction but the composer turned it to become a full blown pop-opera. It has potential imo but not quite there. I bet all tiny toodlers who love to mouthing this song just repeat the hook "billion" times without actually can sing the entire song because this piece is damn complicated!

Overall it's a well done and a wrap..although need to be revised. :(

* However Idina Menzel..that wretched singer- ruin the entire song once she sung. She has such irritating vocal #-o

This movies no different to kids of today thab what Lion King was to my generation.

If I recall we were humming the tunes at school to that and it had a huge ammount of merchandise. Frozen feels bigger because we have the internet now to parody it's music. In 20 years there will be something else to take it's place.
 
I haven't seen it, and I haven't heard much about it, but I know of its existance.
Hey, as long as it's not anime, I have no problem with it! :p
