Can I just comment, how everyone seems to hate Mariah -- yet she is still the best selling female artist in the World. (Her and Madonna are really close!) But guess who's next album is gonna suck? Yup thats right Madonna's. Have you heard the new song? GUH!

I can kinda understand why gay men like Mariah Carey. She has a beautiful voice and an incredible range. Now Madonna and Cher I never understood the obsession with these women. They can't sing! I can't comment on Pink because I'm not to familiar with her work.

I completely disagree with Cher not being able to sing. She has a great voice...especially on the 80's early 90's stuff. Jesse James, If I Could Turn Back Time, Bang Bang, Save Up All Your Tears; all great vocal performances.

I also wonder why people give Madonna so much credit for reinventing herself when Cher is really the queen of this. Listen to Dark Lady, I Found Someone and Believe. They are three totally different styles. To me, current Madonna music sounds like her earlier stuff updated. Throw in the fact that Madge has tried so hard to have a film career and Cher, well, has an Oscar. Not to harp on Madonna, cuz I don't not like her, but she defines over-rated to me.

I don't Like Cher or madonna.

I like Pink and Mariah Carey(some of her songs).

Cher: She was fun to look at in “Mermaids”, I think she’s a really good actress. I’m not really into her music though…although I don’t mind hearing her hit songs on adult contemporary radio.

Madonna: I think most if not everyone in the world sees her as the lead in pop music. Her record company Warner released a press statement about a year ago declaring that she’s the female artist who has sold the most albums worldwide.

And, her most recent tour called the “Confessions Tour” is the most successful tour by any female artist ever.

Pink: Not really into her music.

Mariah: She does have the most #1 singles by a female artist…but I do think it helped quite a bit when she acted “girl-next–door” the first six years of her career. Music Box, released in 1993, is still her best selling album to date and from 1990 to 1996 she garnered most of her #1’s (11 out of the 17).

Around the year 2000, didn’t she started calling her fans her “lambs”? I've heard of "lamb of God"...does she think she's God?! The thing is, I don’t think the Mariah from the “Dreamlover” and “Fantasy” days would ever call her fans her "lambs".
