No. They don't think straight guys want them. They think they can delude straight guys into having sex with them. There's a difference.

Some gay men refuse to acknowledge that there is a limit to their influence -- that there exist other (straight) men for whom the mere possibility of attraction does not exist.

i dont try to influence straight guys. i know that its pretty much fruitless, not to mention i dont need to do anything like that because i have a girlfriend.

But why would they think they could do that when they can't even delude other gay guys into having sex with them? lol

It's the element of conquest - attaining the unattainable. It's like 'borrowing' your father's car and taking it for a joy ride without getting caught.

You couldn't have gotten your answer from the millions of other topics like this?

Exactly.

Also, is it so hard to grasp that some gay guys would think that? I mean, I know straight guys who hit on lesbians. It just seems obvious that they want what they can't have.

That straight men want them? I mean really? Come on now.#-o

I don't think straight guys want to develop a LTR with a gay person. However, I think many horny straight people do not mind to have anonymous, non penetrative sex with a gay guy if he assumes no one else would find out.

And the thrill of hooking up with a horned up straight guy is simply addictive and indescribable.

If a gay guy goes after a straight guy, and gets turned down (which happens almost all of the time), he can always fall back onto the guy's "straightness" as a reason. "Guy says he likes girls. He just doesn't know how good it'd be with me. He's scared of getting found out."

If he tries with a gay guy, and gets turned down...well, then he has to say things like "I don't know why I even tried with him - he's butt-ugly, and I'm way out of his league."

>>>And the thrill of hooking up with a horned up straight guy is simply addictive and indescribable.

Then add that "thrill" to the group of "thrills Lex has no interest in giving a whirl". I think it'll fit pretty well between skyhooking and auto-asphyxiation.

This has been discussed to death.

Not really but as for me...every living being wants a piece of me. I'm so hot!

I used to think that straight guys wanted me all throughout high school. There were some that were just so damn nice to me. It's hard though to distinguish guys ACTUALLY being nice and guys who want to sleep with you.

I still think I'm in that phase of thinking that lol. I have a couple of straight friends who have become a little flirty since I came out to them and I would do it back. I know nothing will come of it, but it's fun to think it anyway.
