Do guys try to flirt with you while shopping?

I'm flirted with a lot, by people of all genders and ages. I don't mind it at all, even if it is awkward at times. It's only irritating if they take it too far.

Do any of you get annoyed with gay employees at Hollister, A&F, Gap, Nordstroms, etc. trying to flirt with you? I normally wouldn't mind it if I was shopping alone, but I hate it when they do that kind of stuff when I'm with my friends. I'm not out of the closet, and I don't my friends to get the wrong idea or start questioning my sexuality. Don't get me wrong, it's very flattering, but just wrong timing!! I guess I'm a victim of gaydar...

Well, if you'd stop being so gay looking and acting that the guys assume there's NO way your freinds dont' know....

Shit, I wish a gay guy at one of those stores flirted with me. But it doesn't help that I dress in a "gothic" sense... Probably wards them off, like sunlight to a vampire. The only time I was flirted with while shopping was a gay friend of mine's friend, who liked me, but that doesn't count because he was only doing it to be a goof.

The only time I've been flirted at in a retail setting was by a female cashier at a Rose's in Chapel Hill, NC. It was bizarre to say the least and I didn't know how to react at the time. Anybody who's familiar with this chain (it makes Walmart look like Saks) knows how truly tragic this is.

I'm the world's worst at figuring out when someone is flirting with me. They have to about hit me upside the head for me to catch on. I have been told so many times by friends that they couldn't believe how that girl or guy was flirting with me and I had no idea they were flirting. After I thought about it, I realized they were flirting, but then it was too late. I guess I'm just too focused on what I am actually there doing to notice the flirting.
