The hypothetical young-looking 18-year-old can certainly be dating and having sex, hopefully with those near his own age, I've no trouble with that. That's his private life.

But when this said 18-year-old is courted and sought after by porn companies eager to get him in a photoshoot with another (maybe like himself, but maybe A LOT older) or encouraged to strip on webcams, etc.... and bear in mind, an 18-year-old may not have a proper judgement on all of this....

So it's OK if somebody courts and encourages an 18-year-old to have sex with him...but not OK if somebody courts and encourages an 18-year-old to do porn? It's OK if the 18-year-old "doesn't have proper judgment" if some guy smooths-talks him into the bedroom, but not the photography studio?

The code of conduct doesn't just specify facts and technical realities. It asks that members not post images in which the subjects "appear" to be under 18.

And when those images appear, the moderators make quick work of it making them go away again.

Unless they aren't brought to the attention of the moderators. And if that's the case, this thread is little more than yelling fire without lifting a water bucket.

So OP. Are you sending in post reports for the pictures that are offending you?

There's nothing hypthetical except your own hang ups..There's also nothing defined as ''technically illegal.''

It's either legal or it isn't..Not a lot of grey area..You're either old enough to fuck whoever you want ,or you're not..

While I acknowledge that there is an entire (and hugely profitable) "Barely Legal" market in both gay and straight porn (quite frankly), I wonder if some of our contemporary collective "discomfort" with some body types may be due to the fact that we don't see naked males of all variety on a regular, daily basis in normal life.

After all, these guys are 18+ no matter how much some men may perceive them to be younger based on certain physical characteristics. But I would have to think that THE ARMY sees these young, smooth, big-dicked "kids" all of the time coming through their Boot Camps.

And decades ago when cross-generational nude swimming was the norm among males, I would have to think that men accepted the fact that some 18+ year olds were very brawny and hirsute while others remained "adolescent-like" for a longer period of time. But they were all of age in the YMCA showers.

A lot of it is how we perceive the unknown. I think we have some sense that by 18, because its technically "adult", that all guys will have the physiques to match. But actually, some ethnic groups and other conditions can cause many guys to mature at different rates.

I mean, if we followed the initial logic of this thread, many men might find themselves beating off to and having sex with 13 year-old boys from certain Latin circles just because by that age some have little mustaches and big hairy dicks - like men.

But they're not men. And not of legal age no matter much their physical selves belie that fact.

Same is true to the other end of the spectrum that some 18 year-olds have smooth, less "mature" looking physiques which don't seem in keeping with their chronological (and mental & emotional) age - which is that of an adult.

So much of this is about perception to some degree.

In fact, a lot of the so-called "18 year-olds" or Barely Legal boys aren't even 18. They're actually 20 and 24 some of them. Some guys just maintain that tall, lanky, smooth, small-assed physique well into their 20s. And they become porn popular because that type often has a lot of big dick hanging between their legs.

But they're no children or under-age. They're (nearly) fully-growed adult men.

So my suggestion would be that more guys get naked around more guys more often. With familiarity of the broad range of body types and physical maturation rates, we all might come to better appreciate every young adult whether he be muscled and hairy-chested or as lanky and smooth as Dennis the Menace in need of a blowjob.
