A number of years back, I belonged to a Y. It was in a small town where the high school had a boys swim team, but no swimming pool. So the team would practice at the Y during the early morning hours, which was when I would work out. I hope it's not too taboo to say how awesome it was to see those young, fit and slim swimmers naked in the locker room. Don't get me wrong. I'm not into pedopheila. These weren't little boys. You need to go to a gay bath house. maybe you need to wait 'till you turn 21. There guys shower and frolick like the exhibitionist/voyeurs they are. Popular gyms have apparently gotten hip to all the cruising and have taken steps to reduce it as much as they can. While I had been aware of the cruising for years, I only recently started making actual physical contact in the showers. only then did I just how easy it was to do this while being fully concealed.

Ironically this gradual 'covering up" in locker rooms and other places of male nudity over the years may be, at least, partly attributable to the growing prominence and visibility of the gay community. when we were so deeply in the closet, many a straight man didn't have a clue. Nowadays, gay men are often so blatant with their cruising, many a straight man gets paranoid. I think elderly men just feel invisible anyway so they don't care who sees them naked.

Great thread and a good read. It reminds me of my high school days in the locker room, with open showers and all that. It was a great turn on.
