Sorry to say this, but I don't think there is necessarily a correlation. I think gay guys and str8 guys all listen to a wide variety of music. I'd say see if he wants to hang out and grab food some time. Getting to know him is the best way to figure out if he is gay. Now if you would have said he listens to madonna a lot... well, that's a different story :)

I used to, but not anymore. I want to know why alot of gay guys in general listen to that music so much... Even adults llisten to it alot.
 
Well I'm gay <25, and me and my boyfriend like music from pretty much every genre, I like some Techno stuff, but not all of it. To be honest I'm more of a heavy rock fan, so I guess everyone is different.
 
Rock/Emo/Screamo/Pop Punk/Punk for me so deffinatly not techno!!
Not sure what makes gay guys gay, but as people keep saying their must be one factor that we all share in common. (I'm going with its natures way of screwing us over for over populating the planet, so many gay guys these days that it must be true haha!)
 
I LOVE TECHNO/TRANCE/HOUSE!! but- I also listen to rock like Rammstein, Ozzy, CHILI PEPPERS!, and other such music...


i hate country music, however lol..
 
I like Techno and I'm gay, so maybe? But my BF doesn't like it, so I would be sorry if he was straight, but I am fairly sure he's not, so I'm voting for no corrolation sorry. Try the more traditional, inviting him out for a meal and having a chat route, to find out.
 
Not me. I can't stand techno or even that so-called remixed dance music. I'm 23 but a 60s child at heart! I'll dance to the Stones and rock to the Beatles but I'm not interested in a headache that lasts hours yet provides no musical insights whatsoever!
 
I listen to some, moreso on the Electronic/Trip-Hop/Industrial side, but I've been listening to a lot of Floyd, Zeppelin, and Smashing Pumpkins..

I have a variety..

Well, I'm sure I'm in the minority here. :badgrin: But I actually listen to quite a bit of hip-hop/Rap. I like almost any kind of music though.
 
Fuck no!...I listen to Metal...I'm a huge fan of 80s Heavy Metal;Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Megadeth and a 70s Classic Rock fan; Deep Purple, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Stones...and so on...That would definitely be a total stereotype for sure. But don't get me wrong I do like techno when I feel like going to a club where everyone is a Dancing Queen. :gogirl:

I've been told that I was born in the wrong decade to rock out, but I'm a fan of older music. :p

I actually hate that type of music.I'm mostly R&b and Hip Hop.I listen 2 a little country and pop sometimes,but not that shit.

Admittedly, when I was last out on a gay night, I was dancing to anything. (!) Cheesy pop, bring it on! First time in years I listened to Video Killed the Radio Star.

Got to grind against a hot guy... ;) That was fun.
 
I really don't like that kind of music myself unless I'm in a certain mood. I have a friend that listens to it constantly. He hasn't come out to me yet but I really think he's gay.
