Do people with a false optimism drive you nuts?

I guess my point in this thread was that being optimistic does not mean that one pretends that all things are ok at all times, hence the fake smile.
A true optimist might well look angry or sad about a situation with an intention of fixing it.
 
If you cater to your grumpiness- the world is not gonna help you, it will just keep destroying you. Being a Mr. Sunshine sometimes annoying but if you cater to your black hole too much, you'll get sucked into it, later on you realize it's getting heavier...even to make a single smile :)
