I let it pass or change the subject. Too many people around here want to bring their abhorrence of Trump into every conversation.
 
No. If I am in a social situation and someone starts wittering on about politics I change the subject as soon as possible or move away.
 
For awhile politics was a topic of many social interactions. Now it is getting old and tiring and too many people (including me) have strong beliefs on each side. The conversation gets too heated, so people try to steer clear of that topic now unless they know what side the other party is on, and then they both agree and there is nothing to talk about. So it is in less conversations now.
