Do straight guys give you the "look-check"?

I don't know if anyone knows of this, but it's when straight men give you that look to make sure that you're not checking them out. One of my male co-workers is always doing that. He always thinks I'm looking at him for some reason every time I'm around him. One time I got so pissed off I said "Can I help you?!" I think it's very rude and conceited. And it's always the "ugliest" straight guys.

The same thing happens with girls. You are correct in saying that it is always the ugliest ones!

Well, for the ones who knew I was gay, i've had a few straight guys initially act very uncomfortable around me, and make some very mean-spirited jokes by implying that I wanted to take advantage of them. I finally just flat-out told them:

"I don't want to have sex with you; you're straight. I'd rather have sex with someone who actually wants to have sex with me. I respect your orientation, and I just ask that you respect mine."

And it was amazing how the guys would express humility, and were actually far more comfortable talking to me after that. A few were surprisingly comfortable respecting our differences, and we even made an effort to talk about "Straight Stuff" and "Gay Stuff" every once i awhile, ask questions, have a laugh over our differences, etc.

But then, you DO get the straight guy who's a little too curious. . .and if they go too far with opening up to you, they WILL usually freak out and blame you for making them ponder their curiosity.

Ah, straight guys, so delicate, frail and insecure. Give'em a beer and they're straight to bed with you!

How do you know they are "straight" ?
They check you out because they think you are hot and may want adult fun.

Where I work, there's always a lot of the same, hot construction guys coming in. There have been a few of them I obviously checked out too many times because I get "the look." I usually try to be respectful (after that, anyway) and stop checking them out. But, there are two guys who seem to be almost offended now that I don't look at them at all. I am sure they're straight, just human and wonder what happened to the attention.

Lol, I don't worry. With the friends of mine who I actually enjoy looking at, no touch and don't be awkward. Then I have this one friend who's damn good looking and seems to like anything that makes his dick feel good, fun times, lots of fun.

Out in public I tend to keep my eyes to myself. ...and most people that I tell I'm gay act like I'm trolling them. Makes it kinda fun. At a store I used to work at I'd flirt the hell away with a couple cute coworkers but everyone there seemed to think I just had a bent sense of humor.

I'll use the checkout glance myself but only to see if the person's good looking enough I wanna stare back.

It is rather insulting to straight guys to say that after one beer they'll go straight to bed with you

(Mostly they need to have at least three beers)

There have been exhaustive studies regarding eye focus and human interaction.
INVARIABLY a man's eyes first go DIRECTLY to the crotch when there's another man involved.
I swear some dudes dress the way they do TO draw attention to their junk.......

Wife beaters on hot men is a WHOLE nuther story.......

LOL! Ok, maybe after 3 beers, cause they're too scared to have sex without getting drunk! It helps them to open up, I guess. Which is unfortunate, because I'm a good, attractive guy that doesn't need someone to get tipsy to play with. Shows you how strong homophobia is amongst males that they can't be vulnerable to each other.

"I don't want to have sex with you; you're straight. I'd rather have sex with someone who actually wants to have sex with me. I respect your orientation, and I just ask that you respect mine."

I've said that, more or less.

Well, what I actually said was "Don't flatter yourself."

Seemed to get the message across.

I think that straight guys who are the most paranoid about gay men looking at them like they are pieces of meat are the same guys who leer at girls the same way. In the end, people should just stop projecting themselves upon others.

And let's face it--if anyone is actually upset that he or she is being checked out by others, he or she obviously lying.

For those who worry around me, I just offer a winning smile and say "sorry, you're not my type. I only go for good-looking guys, I'm afraid."

You can make even more of a point by saying "I don't go for ugly guys" if you're annoyed enough.
