It is incredulous that people are still so uneducated about this. However it must be said, that since the massive AIDS awareness campaigns of the 80s, most governments seem to have 'dropped the ball' with this issue. ^A radical religious movement (take your guess) in my place takes HIV/AIDS and safe sex practice education to be the same as free sex promotion and forbid it. They even demand the government money spilled on anti-HIV/AIDS activities to be diverted elsewhere.

It's pretty much the same out there (I think). HIV prevention and religion just never walk on the same path for stupid reasons .

Even in this thread, the ignorance about AIDS is appalling. AIDS is not exclusive to anal sex. I don't even know why it's being brought up. You'd probably be more at risk from vaginal sex or French kissing.

Also, AIDS is very pervasive amongst the (straight and gay) African community so when you see a black gay male, it's very bad news. Roughly half of all HIV positive individuals in the United States are black despite making up only 10% of the population. I would not recommend intercourse with homosexual or heterosexual Africans (unless you're African in which case you do so at your own risk).

I read some where that some gay men think that not having AIDS makes you a "virgin". I'am not sure if that's true or not, but sad if it is.

Then I'll proudly stay a virgin if that's the case. Their definition of virgin is messed up.

Are you telling that vaginal sex and FRENCH KISSES are a higher risk practice than anal sex? If so, it's not true. French kisse are a very low risk practice, and anal sex is more risk than vaginal because of more weaker mucosae.

More heterosexual couples are starting to have anal sex, so hell yeah, they're gonna be at risk for HIV/AIDs (but the gays are still going to be blamed for it, alas).

Straight people can have intercourse and get AIDS they don't have to have anal sex to get AIDS. You knew that right?
