do u like to wear flipflops?

I seem to be wearing them all the time lately. They have a cushy insole that is more comfortable than going barefoot. I think they can be a little dangerous when I drive with them. Walking to the beach great going over the hot sand but wet sand and my flip flops tend to wear on my feet.

When it turns cold my feet will be covered.

50 years ago , in Waikiki , there were exactly TWO places that required SHOES for admittance - and they meant actual shoes -- that was Stewart's Pharmacy - and the Waikiki Theater. you could get into any other establishment BAREFOOT -- SLIPPAS would have been a luxury - at the same time- the rule in the PUBLIC SCHOOLS was SHOES REQUIRED FROM THE 8TH GRADE ON - 1-7 - BAREFOOT -OR SLIPPAS OKAY !! SO YOU SEE -- DIFFERENT STROKES FOR DIFFERENT FOLKS --
go to the P.I. and things would be very similar -- FILIPINO's around here wear SLIPPAS way past Halloween..cold or not.. and JAPANESE - well they were BORN with them on..
 
I like wearing them, but not if I'm going to be walking a lot. They've got no support.
 
I was on my way to the barber shop earlier and before i got to the stop-light i let a dude cut in so he could go to an ATM machine..Cute dude from a distance.

He got out his truck and of course he was wearing a pair of Thong-Flip-flops & plaid shorts. Nice legs and his butt was looking good in those shorts..

I thought about this Fucking thread when I saw his Flops...:lol:
 
I only wear them inside my house. They are inappropriate to wear except at the beach.

Yes, because I like the airy feel in the warmer weather. Plus, I get to see other guys' feet, which I like. But there's some ugly dogs out there. lol
No, because I heard they're the worst things for your feet by massage therapists and podiatrists.
 
I wear them around the house; I'll wear them up to the pool or hot tub on the roof and have even worn them down for coffee in the morning at Busboys and Poets which is on the first floor of my building.

However, I don't wear them out walking because after wearing them too much my feet ache and hurt. I believe it is because of lack of support. I do have a good pair that are fitted and strap on my feet with proper supports that I do wear a lot in the summer, including out to clubs.
 
My boyfriend wears them... with socks#-o

Seriously, he just tucks the fabric of the sock between his toes so the strap can fit.

I look awesome in them, but the problem I have is that every pair I have ever put on tends to rub my skin and give me blisters or cuts, so I avoid them.
 
I love wearing flip flops. I think they look really good on some people.
 
here in san diego where it is summer all of the time- i wear them inside the house; and, also outside, to retaurants, parks, movie theater...u got the idea. they are so comfy and will forever wear them.
 
thongs or flip flops are the footwear that has a strap between the big toe and the one next to it. no heel strap. sliders are the ones that have a strap across the front of the boot and no heel strap. sandals are shoes that look like someone took an x-acto knife or scissors to and did a serious ventilation job on. at least thats the west coast, hawaii and pacific ocean definition.

ours is a barefoot house and the back yard is almost all patios, decks and pool/ spa (in ground) and above ground tub (seats 8) flip flops are de riguer around the yards or at the gym (sandals or tennies are gym too) flip flops/thongs are not for street wear(at least not the way i was raised.

yes, i wear all 3 depending on my activity as all provide 'protection' for your feet and thongs are great for the gym locker room shower, public are to avoid fungal and other infections.

In Australia 'thongs' as they are most often known are less seen now than when we first came here all those years ago - then it was an everyday warm weather choice. It's seems that it's mostly back-packers who wear them.

I love all my Birkis! Much more comfortable, and healthy for your feet!
 
No....I just can't used to wearing them. Have trouble walking in them and keeping them on.
 
I love them, although i do call them slippers... buy yes i like wearin them
