  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Do u think gay men get upset more easily than straight men?

Good observation, but I know a lot of straight men who fly off the handle over the simplest little things. If something doesn't go their way they pout, whine, argue and sulk. I know gay men who are cool, calm and collected but then again some are hot headed, shallow and self centered. Straight men can be that way too.

It just depends on the person.

Totally gurl....u piss me off, u better out of my face or I'm going to cut u.

I think so.

Straight men are more cool about stuff. They will just laugh it off, move on, and get over it.

Gay men NEVER get over something. They will get upset over the smallest shit, and they don't forget it.

Straight men will come to you the next day and act like nothing ever happened. They are more worried about a ball game or they're pickup truck.

Gay men keep diaries of this stuff. And they let it build and build. To the point where they are just so depressed or ready to kill someone.

Especially gay men under 30. Gay men who are 30 and over I've discovered are different...... they got their shit together a little more. They've already been around the block, and they've got more the "love me or leave me" attitude.

It's not such a "big deal" to gay men who are a little older.

Most of the time..... (and this is just been my experience, I don't mean to offend anyone) straight men.... will leave you alone if you leave them alone. A gay man under 30... if you pissed them off they can keep you looking over your shoulder. lol.

Just my say.

Thats funny LOL

To answer your question some do some don't.
Like any other straight me.

some visual aids...

^ Lex, you so funny

OP:

Attention: not everyone fits neatly into the same category. All you need to do is change the tone of your post to "some" instead of "everyone."

Are you pickin up what I'm puttin down?

^ in public if you can spot who is gay all the time, your observation is true.

If you can't, your observation is not true.

^ Jasun, as a gay man, would be labeled violent but as a straight man would be labeled macho or assertive?

It doesn't take a Sherlock to detect a double standard.

I think gay men love to generalize other gay men and say straight men don't act this way.

Like we really don't get enough of that from from the rest of society.

Well, that's because straight men are much nicer and don't have as many complexes as gay men. Gay men are very rude, catty, superior, evil, nasty people. Well, some are...

I try and avoid those types of gay men because they create drama, and when they sense weakness in someone else, they will put them down.

That picture is hot. But one of him in a hot tub would be hotter. ;)

Don't you know, I have that but I [STRIKE]can't[/STRIKE] won't post it here.
