My life is actually not difficult, I've mentioned before that I'd have practically no problems if I were straight

I was thinking about it, and maybe I even actually kind of like being gay. There was a time when I obsessed about reading scientific texts about homosexuality, and then I discovered I really like reading about science I'm a very scientific-minded person, I wonder if I'd be just the same if I were straight.

Also, I played Super Smash Bros. Brawl against a really cute guy today. My friends always whine about most gamer girls not being cute

EDIT: I forgot to ask! A friend of my best friend loves Lady Gaga, fashion, shopping, and going to the gym. He also likes a TV show that is mostly aimed at gay people. Do you think he might be gay? That'd be pretty awesome, because then my best friend would have two gay friends

The difference between being out to yourself and people you know is the difference between looking at the mirror, pictures, and even memories of yourself, and liking what you see as you see it unaltered, or feeling extremely insecure without attempting to modify/ present yourself differently. Stop trying to think about the metaphysical implications of how you live you're life- it's YOUR LIFE. Live it!

Uh, guys, I don't know if I should make a new thread. I have an "update", and since this thread explains my situation, I thought it'd be a good idea to post it here. It's not like I can share this with anyone else!

So, 2 days ago I met a guy via Manhunt. Surpisingly, he was not trying to hook up for casual sex (absolutely nothing against that, it's just not my thing). He also ended up NOT being boring and all those things I said before

We went out today, and it was pretty Ok. I was nervous as hell, but I think it was all good - except for some really awkward silent moments. We had some tea at a really nice Hindu-themed place. We talked about lots of things, but it could have been much better... my mind blocks when I'm nervous. I couldn't tell if he was nervous too.

We have some things in common; he's a gamer, likes graphical design, and he's not a big fan of clubs. He's closeted too (but he hasn't told anyone), and his situation with his friends is just like mine. Also, physically, he's totally my type (slim, defined, same height as me, nice hair, kind of alternative) And, GOSH, what a freaking sexy voice. Seriously, I didn't know a voice could make such an impact.

The downsides: he's 18 and I'm 21. I usually like guys who are my age or a little older. He's not childish/immature, though.

So, yeah, there's not a lot to discuss, but I wanted to share it with someone.

Are you kidding? Next you'll be telling us he drives a convertible VW or Jeep. Lady Gaga is the most (over-)talked about topic on Facebook evar.
