  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
    Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Do you and your partner use 'pet' names?

I only have pet names for his body parts... for example his penis is named Aloicious Padiecakes....

He refers to me as big daddy

Yes, we do. But I'm not sharing them here. The whole point of pet names is that it's something private between us two, so telling you all about them would sort of defeat that purpose.

Lex

When he gets bossy I call him "(yes), daddy, sir" and he usually gets the message. We've only been dating for a matter of months so we're still fielding pet names for each other, putting them up the flagpole seeing if anyone salutes them and whatnot.

Hmmmmmmmmm, after 30 years (come 17th of Oct 2009), we've called each other by numerous pet names, some of which we will keep private! lol

However, I call Ron Punkin', Slick (hates it), lover boy and btw we call each other (Jane and Blanche) from the Baby Jane movie.........guess which is which! ha ha

..........and, after all these years, we NEVER, I said NEVER, go to bed angry at one another; nor do we ever use sex as a weapon against one another. We made a vow that we would never hold a grudge against one another and I can happily say...........we never have..........and never will!(*8*):kiss:

Not my present one, so much.

I used to call a former one "bunkie", because we were bunk mates.....

I called him Jason...a couple of times

by mistake...:cry:

Still single here, but had pet names while with my Ex,

He= Billu(Pet name for cats)
Me= Kaka(Pet name for babies)

He= Gilbert (Cartoon Cat Characte)
Me= Caillou
Here is the pic

He=RB
Me=CB (Full form is a secret b/w him and me.)

I don't think that I could ever call a partner by a pet name it just seems too sugary and childish.

Even if I tried I think it would come out sounding so false that it would be pointless.

Mind you there is no chance that I will ever have a partner again so I don't why I am opening my big mouth. :D

We call each other "bug". I don't know how it happened or why but it seems to fit.

My boyfriend tried to call me "babe" once, I quickly put a stop to it.

I hate hearing people on the phone or in person using pet names, it sickens me.

i call him Fay, or Madge.

He calls me (it's pronounced tone, as in 'a musical tone' or 'tone deaf' which I should be, for having headphones on so much of the time )

Short for Tony

never really imagined how it would be spelled

I don't remember when he first used it, been saying if for years

My ex called me 'BABY'. Can't say that I ever complained about it :D
