i usually just type whatever comes into my head with the whole idea of not knowing how the next person is going to respond. i usually expect the worse though as in nobody responds or someone ends up getting offended or whatever. i actually get shocked when things go better than i expect. but it makes sense that if i don't say anything nice, i don't expect anyone to say anything nice to me. i do feel that sometimes the responses that come back are the product of oversensitivity or someone being way too passionate on a side. it isn't that serious. i have no problem with someone disapproving of what i say but sometimes, some people go beyond that though as in they have a personal beef. all just because i don't agree with them on such and such view, then i'm an asshole. it's one thing if you view me as an asshole because i argue or i make a thread about being insensitive to kids getting bullied or a photo of woman being in anguish about not being able to afford cancer treatment. you can call me an asshole because that's just low. it's another if someone gets mad with me that i don't feel that that ravi guy should get 20 years in prison. then i just think that person disagree with me is being a dickhead where they're disrespecting my opinion. there's a couple of people in here that are like that and then have the audacity to think that their shit doesn't stink.

:=D: exactly what i've always said about this place. this place is mild compared to elsewhere. i would much rather be here than other places on the internet where people say something really foul and people laugh at it and the whole nine.

No. Never bait anyone on. I think if one's idea or point is compelling enough (even if only for debate sake) one doesn't need to bait anyone on or into conversation.

And just to get a rise out of someone isn't all that compelling a reason since the only persons who would take such bait are already prone to argument. And that's just predictable. And it make the conversation artificial to a great degree.

I baited a guy on the parkway today. He was sitting in the passenger seat and looked down into my crotch. I saw him scoping me and grabbed myself in a rather slutty manner. He seemed to like it and kept looking, so I teased him some and then got off the next exit...it was kinda fun....
