G'nite!

Don't forget to count your blessings.

Hmm -- how might one count a negative blessing, I wonder?

Sounds intriguingly sadistic... I hope there's blood involved.
Keep wondering, you started the blessing's crap

Nighty night, but don't kiss me.

You "think" that it is illusory and it is your right. If it is a knowledge, please explain where it comes from, what were your experiences that produce results as clear as that ?

Belief in a god is illusory because gods are constructs. They are made from observations joined together, perpetuated, and valorized by societies or at least by institutions. They do not have independent existence. They are signifiers without referents.

Knowledge about gods, like all knowledge, is constructed knowledge, but some objects of investigation (like horses) exist in the thumpable world, and others (like unicorns) do not.

I do not at all say that there is not or cannot be knowledge about unicorns, but 'unicorn' is a signifier without a referent. One can learn all kinds of things about gods, but that doesn't mean gods have any more existence than unicorns.

Nevertheless, gods are extremely powerful--much more powerful than unicorns.
