Do you decorate the exterior of your home with lights for Halloween?

Now that Halloween is just one week from today, I was curious to know, do you decorate the exterior of your home with lights for Halloween? Why or why not?

In my case, I don’t get that into Halloween to bother to decorate. So I don’t put up any lights for Halloween (interior or exterior). I tend to save my energy for all the decorating I want to do for Christmas, since it takes me a year to recover from putting up and taking down the decorations. LOL!!! Yet I must admit that I think that it would be COOL to have a house decorated and with music like the one in the YouTube video below. Enjoy! ;)

I definitely like the one Patman posted. I string some pumpkin lights around the windows and decorate a bit, but not that much.

Even if I could I wouldn't; I hate Halloween. My apt. building is not allowed to have anything on their door or windows besides some sort of shade/curtain of course. I guess it is true that people tend to hate the season opposite their birth one.

We used to put a jack-o-lantern in the front window back when we were kids and teenagers and handed out treats but since I left home we kept the place dark and just decorate indoors.
My other half is like the $@mn stores, slighting Halloween in favor of Commerce Day(X-mas).

Its a tradition in this neck of the woods for some people to get their houses,

cars and even front yards adorned with chicken ovas and tissues. This is a

no charge public service contributed by local teen groups.

Thanks for clarifying. I was trying to imagine a house decorated with chicken tissues.

I agree with you Loki.

Unfortunately, there are pumpkin heads

and dim bulbs all over this land.

HAlloween is my favorite time of year. I always decorate!!. I also build a haunted maze at the childrens shelter one for the little kids and one for the older kids =D. I figure everyone deserves a good scare!.....unless you got a pacemaker then go into the maze for the little kids haaha

Zack911, for PETE'S SAKE, don't go building a blasted corn maze and go getting people lost and trapped in it, where they have to call 911 for help to get out of it. LOL!!!

Kudos to you, Zack911, I think that is an amazing and wonderful thing that you are doing, by doing work for the homeless. Keep up the GREAT work!

"Happy Halloween to you and the rest of you Guys reading this!" BOO!!!

I used to go all out, with a graveyard scene, ghost, black lights, strobe lights, other effects, pretty elaborate though low-tech compared to the videos above. But it was scary! Haven't done it in 10 years though.

Just the basics. We make it look semi-creepy and sometimes I hide in the bushes and scare the kids.

To the insane who go all out like the videos above, all I have to say to you is "you win"!
