The other 'tap water' thread reminded me of someone who refused to drink tea made from the tap water from the bathroom sink. Her reasoning was that it was made from the same water that goes into the toilet (even though she uses bathroom tap water to brush her teeth).

I couldn't make her understand that all the water from the kitchen sink to the bathtub/shower to the water supply in the ice maker in your refrigerator is the same water that fills the toilet.

I have no problem drinking water from the bathroom faucet. What about you?

Not STRAIGHT from the faucet. It's too low, and the sink is pretty shallow. I'll cup my hands, fill them from the tap, and drink that, though.

I wouldn't have a problem with water from the bathroom faucet. I'd prefer my usual RO water that I get from the water machine for 25 cents per gallon.

Would you drink water from the toilet - assuming the toilet were cleaned and flushed? It's the same water that comes out of the bathroom faucet isn't it?

Would that water be different from the kitchen fauset?

water is water as long as it is drinkable safe water...

sure. it's the same water I brush my teeth with.

the germaphobes out there should be far more concerned with what's on their toothbrush than in their water.

Once I read a study that said the bathroom is actually the house division with the least germs. The kitchen has the most, because that's where all the food is, it brings germs and attracts germs. As opposed to the bathroom, where everything is being cleaned by water while being used.

Not when someone just walked out and stank up the bathroom with their shit.

I know water is water. But I cannot drink from bathroom faucets in public restrooms like at malls or theatres or stadiums. However, I have no problem drinking from the water/drinking fountains located just outside of public restrooms.#-o How many of you feel the same way?

In England older homes havea cistern a large tank in the attic. Water from the mains goes in the tank gravity draws the water to the heater etc. In older homes the same water is going to the cold in teh bathroom only. So there it makes sense not to drink that water. Fortunatley newer homes do not allow for this

I swallow and drink the bathroom faucet water. Hell, I suck dick and lick ass... so I don't really see how I can complain about tap water. Just stating my own personal opinion.

Only after reading this post i actually had to think for a moment ,before i realised that i have never done this like reone i dont even swallow after cleaning my teeth.
I usually only drink bottled water anyway as the water here in Edinburgh is quite hard.
PS
Hope everyone had a great christmas.

Wise, amusing, entertaining and even educational for those who squirm at the idea of drinking water from a bathroom tap.

Just perhaps those who do not drink from a bathroom tap, also refuse to suck dick.:D

True it is the same water, theoretically... But I can't imagine myself drinking water from the Bathroom sink faucet...
It's too weird.. why do it? I brush my teeth there though..

I do.

As it is, my toilet is not in the bathroom - it's in its own small adjacent room.

Yes, and I drink from the water spigot outside our house, too. Our dog eats off the kitchen floor, and she's no worse for the wear.

Germaphobes are usually the ones with allergies and whatnot, since they don't get exposed to enough germs.

I use the water at the bathroom sink to brush my teeth. That is it.
