I have never enjoyed the taste or smell of it. it’s less of a bacon thing and more of a pork thing. I don’t eat pork-related items.

I do like bacon! I have no desire to try the bacon flavored ice cream. But I don't cook it myself.

I've seen really strange ice creams based on other fats be really good.
I'll wager a dollar that bacon fat (rendered) could be a great novelty with maple flavoring and toasted nuts. I think I have to try that now.
My only fear is that it may stick to the hard palate, but mixed in with heavy cream, it may not. I may try that tomorrow as an experiment while my brother is here.
